While playing the game my sims seem to just stand idle. They won't begin or finish a task I've asked them to do. They just stand there. It happens with my pets as well. I've tried everything I've found online to resolve the issue and nothing works. I have repaired the game in origin a few times and it still happens. Is this happening to anyone else? It started happening after the latest update.

If you have a Mac, please list its full specs: everything under About This Mac except for the serial number.
In either case, please also let me know whether you see a delay when clicking on a fridge or computer, and whether you use mods or custom content.

I don't have any mods or CC installed. Everything worked fine until about two days ago.
