Sims4 Freezing on Macbook after Jan 2025 Update

My Macbook, MacOS Monterey 12.7.6, keeps freezing every time I try to play. My EA/Origin app is working fine and all the loading screens go through so I can get to my save. However, after 2-5 seconds...
