Using mods!

I have recently downloaded the sims 4 on my new Mac and have been having issues using mods. I've tried to uninstall the mods, using only one mod, and turning mods on and off inside the game and nothings worked yet. This is not the first time I've downloaded mods for the sims and have no idea what's happening. 

Please help!!!
