I’m having an issue with my sims 4 game. it’s lagging and W’s are showing up where the words are supposed to be. I tried turning off mods but it’s still there. ALSO!! i can’t load into my saved game? my sims are gone, but still in my gallery and my load games. how can i fix this? i tried to repair and everything but it just doesn’t work??

Try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.

Try starting a new save game file, play a household in a lot and save the game. Then come competely out of The Sims 4 game. Load up the game again, and see if the issue remains.
