Build mode issue

So, I'm having issues with my game. I don't use any cc or mods, just base game, expansion packs etc, but since downloading Seasons I've only been able to build for about 10 mins at a time, after this, I'm unable to do anything. I can't move or delete walls, change wall or floor patterns, move delete or add objects. Then, when I try to save to make sure I don't lose anything, it stays on the saving screen and I have to force close the game. It may not be Seasons that is the issue, as the most recent update happened on the same day I downloaded Seasons, so it could be that. 

Is this an issue I can solve, or do you think it's because of the update? Any advice would be amazing!
