Game won’t keep my settings

Hi!

My game doesn’t keep the settings I apply, which have only included making the game full screen, turning the master volume down and switching on the script mods. Also something to add is that when I do full screen the game, sometimes it works and sometimes it just makes the entire game black screen, like I can hear everything but can’t see anything. It’s hard because I can’t run my mod due to the game needing a restart every time you turn on script mods. I’ve also repaired the game multiple times and no change. Thank you
