MeganH008 This may help, although the drama_scheduler error has had multiple causes over the years. And sorry for my own late reply by the way; I've been away from the forums for a bit.
If you're getting this error with no mods or custom content present, can you go ahead and play the household in question? The error is often related to custom careers, and removing your mods would normally leave the sim without a career; they might get this error once and then allow you to play forward.
You could also put back updated versions of the custom careers, then remove your sims from those careers, save, quit, reload, and see whether it helps. You could use "save as" rather than the normal "save" if you didn't want to overwrite your progress.
