Hi! I cannot seem to open or play my main household and it is frustrating! I have mods and I have disabled it, I have also uninstall and re-installed Sims 4 and that doesn't seem to work. My household has been loading for the past 10 mins! The last time that this happened, I have to close the application as it has been loading for like 8 hrs (went to work and let it load, and went back and it is still loading -_-)
Any help, suggestions? TIA
ducky0105x Can you load another household in this save? If not, what about a new household in a new save? Please test and let me know.
If you can't load a new save, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
If only your main household is affected, please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete any lastexception files you find. Try again to load your main household, with no mods or custom content present, and if it doesn't work, look for a new lastexception. If you find one, open it, delete the first line of text, and attach it to a reply here as described above.
I actually tried one of your suggestion in another comment, where I took the Electronic arts folder from my Documents and put it in my desktop and start the game and another folder will appear in my Documents. So far, so good.
If my Sims crashed again, will try the solution above! THANK YOU!
