Issue with main menu going straight into broken moving screen

*for reference I have never used any CC or Mods- just expansion packs and never had any issues till now which started when we got the last update (April 2025)*

Genuinely so frustrated and hoping someone can help me. I’ve been playing sims forever but still can’t seem to get this figured out. It’s been happening ever since the last update and so my sims has been completely unplayable. When I load into the game, it opens into the regular menu opening screen but there is a random family there that I’ve never seen. Whatever, figured it was no big deal. I click to play the game and it loads into the moving houses thing and tells me to select a lot to move into? It won’t let me click out of it and I would just move the family into the lot except for the fact that all of the lots of completely blank and the world is almost empty, with no option for me to move the household. I cannot get off of this making the game completely unplayable. I’ve bought a bunch of packs and spent tons of money so it’s so frustrating to not even be able to play anymore. I’ve tried deleting all of the sims data off of my computer, updating my game, clearing the cache, deleting sims, steam, and EA, and redownloading it, and nothing seems to work. Can anyone help? I’m honestly so upset and I don’t know what else to do.
