My sims 4 game keeps crashing on my MacBook Air

Every time I launch the sims 4 game it’ll crash out on the loading screen with a message popping up stating “sims 4 quit unexpectedly problems with detail & system configuration” I thought it had to do with my Mac needing to be updated but it still keeps happening. I’m currently on macOS Monterey version 12.7.6 please help!
