Hi my sims 4 has been broken for a week now the game won’t open as it says update required I have uninstalled both ea and sims 4 repaired the app cleared the cache and yet the game won’t open it was working on offline mode for a day but then completely broken again I’m at a loss and don’t know what do do
elliedavidsonnn Repairing the game automatically gives you the current version of Sims 4. But there was another patch released just over 12 hours ago, so you may need to repair again.

Hi, I had the same issue before - but I didn't repair like puzzleaddict said - I cleared EVERYTHING related to sims or EA in task manager and then reopened the game and that actually worked like a charm.
Though be prepared - the game is fully broken after the latest updates.
