Sims 4 can pick up documents folder for Mods

Hello guys!

After the update for Lovestruck I have had so many issues with my computer not being able to read or register my EA folder. I dont know what to do, I've uninstalled and reinstalled my game and the EA app to troubleshoot at least 5x each within the past 2 days. I dont know what to do. Is it that it wont download properly? Is it my computer? Should I factory reset? I'm at my wits end and all I want to do is play my game and stream! I feel so helpless! What can I do? An added note for you, before the update, I had my game downloaded to an ssd and it worked fine. Help me please!

  • BigTenny  It sounds like your game is launching and running properly, but that it won't read the user data (mods or anything else) you'd like to use.  Is that the case, or is the problem something else?

If the only problem is the game not reading user data, please make sure the files in question are in the correct folder.  Here's how to find it:

To find the file path for one of your mods, right-click the mod and select Properties > General, then look for the Location.  The paths much match exactly up to "The Sims 4."
