Sims 4 crashing
I have been trying to load the Sims 4 since yesterday afternoon & it keeps closing down when the plumb bob is spinning on the load screen & then an error message comes up: EA or anybody can you pleas...

LovelySimmer91 If the game works fine when you move the folder, the problem is something in the old folder, not your VC++ runtimes. You can of course reinstall them if you want, but that's not going to fix bad cc. So you'll need to test your mods and cc to figure out what needs removing.
You can test it a bit at a time in the new folder, delete or update as necessary, and then move over your saves, Tray files, Options.ini if you don't want to redo your in-game options, and Screenshots and Recorded Videos if you care about those. The rest can be discarded; the game will regenerate the files as necessary.
