Sims 4 Save Files Keep Corrupting

Hi everyone, I've been having a really frustrating issue where every time I create a new save, the game seems to corrupt it. Specifically, when I go back to the main menu, the name of my household appears as “WWWW” instead of what I originally named it. I feel like I've tried everything to fix it, I've removed all mods and custom content, started completely new saves multiple times, cleared the cache files, fully reset the Sims 4 folder in "Documents > Electronic Arts", repaired the game via the EA App, reinstalled the game entirely, and checked language/region settings, and it still happens. The game loads, I can create Sims, move them in, play a bit, but once I return to the main menu, the household name just shows as “WWWW”, and other elements of the save start acting up. Any help would be appreciated — I’m completely stuck at this point.
