idk if this is to do with the new update but one of my save files are gone, my most recent one is replaced with a random family and the text on the startup screen just says WWWWWWWWW a bunch of glitchy W's instead of text.
theres also a 'delivery issue' that keeps popping up in the corner but when i try to fix it it just doesnt work
kindafunnyloser The sims on the Main Menu are the default sims if you have no saves or the game can't load an image of the sims you've been playing. That alone isn't a problem. The more important question is whether you can play your main household.
Please also post a screenshot of the Sims Delivery error, and list the steps you've taken to try to fix it that haven't worked.
Separately, please post a screenshot of the contents of Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves, as in, I'd like to see the file names and dates.
UPDATE: my game works now, the title page no longer says 'wwwwwwwww' and the delivery issue seems to be fixed, however two of my save files are gone in the load menu bit, is there a way i can get them back? and my cc seems to be broken too, these sims have quite a bit of cc on them and they look like this on the title page.
kindafunnyloser For the cc missing at the Main Menu, delete localthumbcache.package.
For the missing saves, they're definitely missing from your user folder too; hopefully they've merely been moved elsewhere. Please see the first post of this master thread:
