sims 4 technical issues

i have had issues with sims and have even deleted my cc. it then worked and so i added my cc back. i exited sims earlier and just went to go back onto it and the same thing is happening again!!!! it comes up saying that 'the system cannot find the file specified'. i have cleared all the cache in my ea account as well as the ea file. it is also saying it needs to update but it gets too 80% and then says it cannot finish the update as it doesn't have the files necessary???? has anyone had this and could anyone help me out???
