Sims crashes right after launch. I have tried like everything
Hello! So I was playing sims last night & when i went to shut down my laptop, it had to do an update. Then when i went to play this morning, it would just open up & then immediately crash. What is super weird is that sometimes it would make it all the way to the dashboard but wouldn’t let me accept my mods so i’d have to restart my laptop. After everything I’ve done to fix it, it now opens to a white screen in a window & i have to restart my laptop.
I have tried clearing the cache, repairing the game, turning off work, updating drivers, removing mods, starting a new folder, & and even uninstalling the entire game. i can’t fix it! i’m not sure what the windows update was for last night but i’ve tried to remove it but it won’t do it either.
the error i was getting was like “failed to launch. an error on our side caused the game to fail to launch. try again a little later.” with no code or anything. but now it actually doesn’t crash but is just a white screen. i feel like crying bc i wanted to play so bad today
