Sims overheating inside (thermostat cool and in hot weather outfits)

Lately so far two of my rotational households have had my sims stuck permanently with the buff "Lethal overheating" despite the fact that they are in their hot weather outfits and are inside a home with a thermostat set to cool. Its affecting 1 sim in my first household and all 4 sims in the second household and most importantly nothing gets it to go away.

Ive tried changing outfit to every day then back to hot weather wear (worked for the first household, did not work for the second)

Ive tried having them get in the pool or shower to cool down (does nothing)

Ive tried going to manage worlds and back (made things worse, travel too makes the moodlet come back)

Ive tried cheating the moodlet away but the moment gameplay resumes it comes back.

I do have mods but none that affect any kind of weather or weather moodlets. No CC clothing, and I verified that yes they are 100% in their hot weather wear outfits.

At a loss here as to what to do now, I really dont want all of my sims dying overheating and fear that all of them will. Going to turn off weather effects for now but having an actual solution would be better.
