Stuck on loading screen…

After the new update my game was broken like everyone else’s. I removed all my mods, game still is broken and I’m stuck on loading screen. I heard that the mods were updated (I only use two) so I reinstalled them and I’m in the same boat, loading screen. I just paid for the EA monthly subscription and now I can’t play and I’m bummed. I’m not sure what to do?

If you still can't play, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

As a side note, you don't need to have an EA Play subscription to play Sims 4.  The base game is free, and any content you've bought separately will work without a sub.  The only exception is Get to Work if you never bought it and only access it through the subscription.  But it's cheaper long-term to buy the expansion on its own, especially as it's often on sale for 50-60% off.
