could someone help me, i'm playing the sims 4 on pc & i tend to get a glitch where my houses disappear, it's happened a few times & i tend to keep having to start a new game over, this is getting boring now, as it's happened once again, only this time i've got quite far in the game, i dont wanna start over and lose all that i've done, how can i get my houses back, i've tried going back to the main menu without saving, i've even tried turning off the game completely logging off, but it still the same each time i go back on, there are either no houses on the map or when i do click on a house that is there, it doesnt appear on the street where the sims live, there is just an empty lot, please help!

try moving this file: documents\electronicarts\thesims4\saves_slot00000001.save to the desktop (close game first) and then restart the game.

Looks like this problem has resurfaced. I just started playing Sims again (I took a three month break) And have been playing perfectly fine for 3 days. Suddenly today, I made a new family and have tried to move them into three separate houses all of which have disappeared.I have no mods or CC.I have not tried to uninstall/ reinstall and would really like to avoid doing all of that if I can.I have tried to take out the files, start a new game, and it's the same result. The houses start to disappear.Did anyone ever find out what caused this?

This is happening again. I haven't found any solution. My family's house had gone when I loaded the save I was playing with. I had save it to the gallery, so I build it again, and save the game in a new slot. When I loaded that last save, the house was gone again.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

Also could you check if your houses are still visible if you go to build mode directly from the map ?

did anyone get anywhere with this? I purchased the game and was playing fine, had the issue mentioned if I was playing for a long time so would leave it a while and come back, but after the latest update, no houses at all show up. The household is just stood outside an empty plot. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Same issue. The only thing left to try for me so far is a factory reset (when I find out how to do this) and after that I think I will just have to get a refund. Using a windows 10 PC, no mods etc.
