I have had my EA account since 2014 and have been playing apex off and on since it was brand new. I recently got a new PC and went to play apex with a couple friends. During my second game played on this new PC I received a permanent ban. I appealed it and they said they fully investigated the account and found that it was involved in cheating. I certainly did not cheat, so I think it must be a bug. Maybe something to do with my new hardware? Has this happened to anyone else?

I've gone through the EA TOS Team, but they don't actually help people it turns out. I'm left without my account still so far..
keithstro If the PC was previously owned by someone else, then it sounds like a HWID ban.
A HWID ban, (also known as "Hardware Identification ban"), is a type of ban that bans the components of a system, (such as the PC's GPU, CPU, etc.)
As a result, if the game detects a banned component, it will automatically ban the player's account, (even if no cheats were being used).
Sadly however, banned accounts cannot be handled on the forums as that can only be handled by the EA TOS Team.> EA Help | Get information about EA Account locks, bans, and suspensions
