[BH] Hobby-White board vanished and can‘t be placed (Script Call Failed)

Having the same issue. I removed all mods including the mods folder itself from the game and I still can't place it, it's just sitting in my household inventory.

Having the same issue since this morning (PC user), does anyone know how to fix it?

I am having this same issue. I removed all mods from the mod folder. I also repaired the game. The whiteboard was removed, and I cannot place a whiteboard on any lot with the error "Script call fail." I tested this in all of my saves, and with a new save file. I've not noticed it with other items, but I am unable to drag items to trash cans any longer (which I will find another thread or start one for that xD).

Since the patch update that was released most recently, the whiteboard from Businesses and Hobbies won’t place from build mode. When trying to a red box appears in its place saying ‘Script Call Failed’. So far it’s the only item I have found this error to be occurring with. 

The whiteboard has been functional before the recent patch update without any issues. 

I have tried a separate save file to the one it originally occurred in and the same error appears and I am unable to place the whiteboard. 

I have explored all the trouble shooting guides to try and solve this issue but none have worked. 

I stumbled across this error today while playing: 03/07/25.

I just bought the Business and Hobbies pack the day before the patch released and it had been working fine. After the patch, the whiteboard disappeared from the pottery small business already in the world, so I can't make any progress the Master Mentor Aspiration anymore, and I cannot buy a whiteboard. The error just says 'Script Call Fail'. I have no mods or CC, and never have. 🙃

I play on PlayStation  ajd I was trying to build a lecture room with the same Buy Build object for a Gardening academy (Community Garden) Small Business venue and got the same Script Call Failed message, I dont play with mods, as PlayStation won't allow it

Experiencing the same issue. Upset too cause my current sim is a small business/mentor of a art shop and that eliminates half the income.

I found it in my household inventory, and I keep getting a message of "script call failed". I play PC, no mods or cc. This is new since the update.

I also am having this issue and use no mods at all. I play on PC. I've put building my small business on hold for now until EA is able to iron out the bugs.
