[BH] Hobby-White board vanished and can‘t be placed (Script Call Failed)

I am also having this issue, specifically with the whiteboard. In lots that had one placed, it was put into the household inventory, and will keep popping back there when I try to place it and get the error.

I initially had mods but I uninstalled them and repaired the game, still getting the same error.

Yes mine Too! This last update...Took all mods out...Removed old saves...and created new Sim/game...and still gone from everywhere??? The Game won't let me place new ones either???

Same! I play on Mac and have never used mods. After I updated The Sims 4 today, the Hobby Whiteboard disappeared from all lots. When I try placing one, a red message pops up saying "script call fail," and the whiteboard does not place. I just bought the Businesses and Hobbies pack last week, so it's extremely disappointing that I cannot do any lectures or classes...

Same. I'm on console so no mods or cc. I loaded into my small business residential lot. Hobby board was in my household inventory. Can't place it. Keep getting an error code. So frustrating.

Yep that's the error message I'm getting.

I just encountered this error as I opened my save file after the new update. The board was automatically placed in my sims' household inventory as soon as I load the file. I tried to place it and it gives me the same error as everyone here "Script Call Failed". I turned off my mods and took them out and same thing happening. I usually don't play with mods either, so I thought "this is why I stopped playing with mods cuz every time a new update comes, things stop working!" Guess it's not mods!

So after I updated my sims 4 game I am unable to place the Hobby Board from Business and Hobbies. It says “script error”. I have zero mods and I’m a PC.

i own all the Expansion Packs as of 7/2/25.

I have zero mods and have BH and can no longer place the BH Board as well.
