Bought upgrade parts and dyes not recognized to upgrade/create something

• do you have this issue with all Sims or a specific one ?
• Does it happen on a new save as well ?

this is an issue with all sims, and on all saves. i created a brand new sim on brand new save to test the issue, but it’s still saying i have no parts, when i have the parts required in my sims inventory.

Unable to purchase upgrade parts on any computer the option isnt there. Then I can purchase dyes but when I go to try and fabricate an item using dyes it says I have no dyes in inventory. I have tried this with and without CC and same issue with or without CC. 

katieleahclark​ I merged your post with the dye issue but could you please create a separate report for the upgrade parts not being available. Make sure you are on your home lot and click throught the more choices menu to make sure it's really missing.

Tested this on my game and bought some dye.

i followed that tutorial, and the new game worked. Then I moved over my saves according to the instructions, and the problem reappeared, so it must be something in my saves :(. However, in the brand new save in the new game, i was still having issues with the dye. 

ok after playing for about half an hour, it went back to not recognising the parts in my inventory for all parts and dyes. 

im also having the problem of there being no "order/purchase parts" from a computer that katieleahclark​ mentioned

I can't duplicate the issue on your save either 

To be sure, when you tried a clean folder, you did just put the save back, nothing else ?
