Load Error Code 800/801

I updated each world with new houses & everything. Each world I built an apartment in, afterwards I dealt with the "Neighboring Houses show as Default/Empty" glitch & with help from "pessyl92" I was able to fix the empty lots issue but now Im trying to figure ot how I can delete those lots anytime I try I get endless loading, I even did the gallery method & it didnt work. Is there a way to get rid of those lots?

i’ve got this problem in a fresh save without any mods yet (only cc for townies) or any actual gameplay — i just finished rebuilding all the worlds just to find out the 50x50 lot in Willow Creek got bugged somewhere in the process of rebuilding other worlds. in this save file i have less than 60 residential rental units (not lots), the whole save file is under 50 MB. 

i also had this problem in another save file, but since it was several month old and modded, i put all the blame on myself for messing with the game, but this time it’s just ridiculous

removing the lot via sims4studio fixed the issue but obviously i’m not going to use this save file anymore and have to start again from scratch since i intended to use it as a backup template

upd checked all the backups i did on the way — the lot got bugged while i was adding families and moving them in houses, not because i placed some bugged lot from the gallery. nothing here makes any sense

I uninstalled the game and then installed it again. The houses still disappear when entering any lot in Willow Creek. And on the neighboring lots are the default/original houses showing.

1. Yes, the game launches.
2. Buildings are missing. Started with one house. Now all buildings in Willow Creek are gone. I can see them on the map/overview, but when I enter the lot the house is gone. I cannot visit the lot with sims or build a new house on the lot. Sometimes the lot doesn’t load at all and sometimes I get error code 800. And something strange: When I enter a lot and the house is missing I can see the old/default houses on the neighboring lots. Despite them being replaced years ago, and not standing there when I enter that lot.                            
   Sims are not missing, but their relationship/family bond between each other are missing on some of them. Not all relationships in entire families, just someone here and there.
3. Every save that I have used with this worldstate is infected. I haven’t really played any other worldstate and I don’t dare to start a new game yet, because I’m afraid that world will get corrupted as well. But when I open up Willow Creek in a new game, everything seems fine.
4. No, I play on Xbox series X. I do download buildings from the gallery, and have downloaded horses/cats/dogs made with mods to make them look more realistic. I do not know how to repair the game, and I haven’t uninstalled/reinstalled the game. But I can try that.
5. FYI: I have all Expansion Packs, Game Packs, Stuff Packs and all but two Kits. So I have a lot of content in my game. I also have as many rental lots that is allowed spread over the different maps/worlds.

I'm also having this issue with lots in Willow Creek, along with lots that appear as the default lot in the surrounding world and/or appear blank in the surrounding world or when loading in. I was able to fix the lots that were default blank, but some lots I can't load in or replace at all without receiving the Error 800. 

I've tried replacing the lots, removed residential rental lots from other worlds, deleted the localthumbcache file, repaired the game, removed all mods, uninstalled and reinstalled without For Rent, and uninstalled and reinstalled with all packs -- none of these seemed to solve the issue. 

I ended up abandoning this save for fear that the lots would continue to corrupt and that it would eventually become unplayable all together. So far, only Willow Creek seems to have the issue. 

I  play on Xbox series X and have all Expansion Packs, Game Packs, Stuff Packs and all but two Kits. I have played more than 1700 hours on my save (I have several saves for the same worldstate).

I first noticed that one house in Willow Creek disappeared, but I kept on playing with other households in hopes the bug would be fixed. But it didn’t get fixed, and continued to spread. Now my entire Willow Creek is unplayable and all my saves for this worldstate are ”ruined”. When I enter a lot, there is no house there, and neighboring lots has their default/original houses on them!?! I have tried entering all lots in Willow Creek, and it is the same on all of them now. Sometimes i get Error Code 800, sometimes I can’t enter the lot at all.

I have started to save all buildings and sims in my library so that I can place everything in a new save. But I have heard that a new save can get corrupted as well. So I am afraid to do all that work, and risk getting the bug again.

From what I have heard, it’s ”For Rent” that might be causing this bug. The more rentals you have, the higher the risk. Also the more content you have, the higher the risk of corruption.

I started a new save file where I removed all rental units from my game, including the ones that came with For Rent. I haven’t even got to finish building my new world and the error code started. It’s very frustrating and has only happened once before the August update. My game is completely unplayable. I’m hearing that For Rent and a few other packs may have caused this corruption, can’t EA just refund the bugged games? I’m willing to buy the newer packs if they refund the bugged ones. 

You have to do exactly this. I did this earlier this year. I'd even stray away from bringing in old lots, and just rebuild them. Save your families and sims into gallery and rebuild the game. I'm not a tech person so excuse my explaining but I found out that it'll just keep happening eventually if you don't completely wipe the game from your computer. Literally uninstall it, and reinstall it again and manually place back in mods (if you use them) and start a new save file with the sims you uploaded to the gallery.. then cheat their relationships etc. It took me a few weeks because I lost a 6 year old legacy save file.. Was devastated. 

I still am staying away from creating rental lots which is a **bleep** shame because that was the one feature I was actually excited for in the sims. My games been okay so far, but I backup my save files onto external hard drives like once every two weeks or so because I'm a bit traumatized to say the least. 

I really hope they fix this. 

The Load Error Code 800/801 and the save corruption are somehow related. They are not the same, but they are related. 
I believe that since you are receiving the load error code Solarie found it best to transfer you here. 

I noticed that you transfered my message on the Load Error code 800/801 thread, and that's fine, but did you miss the second part of my message ? I don't always get that code, sometimes I notice the corruption because lots disappear or revert back to default
