[MAC] [CD] Selecting the automatic litter box in build/buy crashes game

Twice now I have tried to renovate the starter home in Nordhaven, but every time I select the automatic litter box, not the laser one, my game crashes and does not save anything I did. Only had this ...

Seems lillily123 reported the same thing in the mac forum: Base game (no cc/mods) crashing | EA Forums - 11859407

I couldn't duplicate this on PC so I'm going to tag this as mac for now until other users on other platforms chime in.
