Okay I'm sure everyone will know what this means and I'm probably sure that the bug report exists but I couldn't find it. It could have been archived from the previous forum.
Bug: Sims Constantly Change Seats
Example:
Sim is already sitting in a chair or on a bed. You then tell your Sim to read a book or do their homework. Now I would expect the Sim who is already sitting to just stay there and do the next action but 9/10 times they will get up and either sit back down where they were or they will change seats entirely to do the action.
Sim is already sitting and you queue up a bunch of conversation interactions that don't require the Sim to move (no shoes in the interaction) but sure enough the Sim will switch seats to do their queued actions.
Sim is not sitting but needs to sit down and get up in order to start an interaction. I find this one even more maddening sometimes. You're having a standing conversation with someone or you decide to cook dinner or something else. More often than not your Sim will walk over to a chair sit down and then get up immediately before starting their new queued interaction even if they need to go back to where they were initially.
Why do Sims have such an obsession with sitting and changing seats?
