Anyone else having this issue when you go to collect the new rewards for the sims 4 event? My internet is fine my account is linked to EA so I’m not sure what’s going on. Since this new event has came out I’ve had more trouble with this game than I ever had. Hopefully it’s something else that can be fixed soon.

Same here on Xbox. Connection is all good, but I can't claim the reward. It was working fine last week, before this week's update.
One other tidbit, it is the same exact item the OP has in their screenshot that I am having problems with, The Wooden Throne.
Same for PS4. It sucks too bc since The Wooden Throne has to be claimed from the Event Rewards, which is inaccesible right now because “Online Connection is Required”. It leaves us stuck….hopefully they extend the amount of time allotted for this Event if they don't fix this soon….

I’m having the same exact issue. Everything is linked and my internet it working fine but when I try to collect my rewards it’s telling me a connection is required. I’m confused at what else to do at this point.
Same issue. Been trying to claim rewards for a few days now and no luck. So frustrating.

Ok i thought it was just me
Found a work around this for xbox/ps. Go into game options. Select the tab others. Deselect and select online social features and in game surveys. Select auto-connect and it should prompt agree to terms for EA access. It will tell you if you agree, it will restart. Hope this helps
I'm having the same problem on Xbox, and I also can't select rewards when doing an event because 'another event' is running. Fix this!!!!

I have been having the same issue! I have tried restarting my Xbox multiple times and disconnecting and reconnecting my internet. I am so frustrated and don’t want to lose out on the cool features.
I found a way around it! In settings on the game I clicked the ‘Other’ tab and clicked ‘Link EA account’. I reloaded into the game and was able to claim my rewards.
