Hey HeatherD270,
It sounds like there might've been an issue with your install.
Please try the following steps to troubleshoot this:
- Quit EA App and make sure the EA background services are closed in Task Manager
- Delete the main folders for your packs in the install location (should be EP01, EP06, and EP08)
The packs should be located in the same folder as your base game. If they're located in a folders within Documents, then it isn't installed in the right location. - Open EA App and reinstall those packs one at a time. Wait until it says 'Installation complete' before moving on
- Start Sims 4 and check if the worlds are available
Let us know how it goes, thanks! - LeishaBates_16 days agoNew Spectator
Bought some packs and it says that it is downloaded but when in game it does not show up. I have uninstalled/reinstalled and done repair, but nothing seems to work.
gyocchan Please open Marketplace > My Collection and see whether your packs are deactivated. If they are, click Pack Selection and check the boxes for those packs, then restart your game.

it worked now. Thank you! Didn't even know I had to check the marketplace for that.

I have the same issue. It even occurs if you uninstall some packs and reinstall them.
It took me a while to figure out a workaround the works for me. I've deleted all files and folders in "%USERPROFILE%/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4" apart from the folders saves, Mods, Screenshots and Videos. When I start the game, it finds all install packs.
The downside is, that it looses all settings and resets the seen tutorial tips. You may prevent this by also excluding all ini files from delete. But I don't know whether this solves the problem.
In any case, this is only a workaround and no real solution. This needs definitively to be fixed by EA. I don't want to redo this every time I buy a new pack.

When I first tried to install the Mcc mod I noticed that it wasn't working, somehow this led me to do something and then i noticed my packs were missing. Long story short it led me to completely uninstall I.e removing all files from my laptop and reinstalling. I had already fiddled about with uninstalling steam and then trying ea first.. but I burst out crying with frustration. So im currently in the mist of reinstalling from removing all files from the documents. I honestly dont know what else to do if it still fails after this.
Below attached is proof I have the content but my game wasn't recognising it

Packs I owned before the most recent update are being shown as uninstalled or not owned, even though they are. I have tried restarting the game, and nothing is working

Hi! I recently trying to move my Sims 4 from EA to Steam App. The base game and the save file got no problem at all. However i couldn't use any packs that i owned from EA.
When i open my Sims through Steam, the packs says deactivated. How do i solve this?
