My plants are no longer producing fruit. When I attempt to fertilize, my sim does the animation of fertilizing crops, but then the item that was used to fertilize remains untouched in the inventory, and the plant is unchanged.
My farming family needs help!

are you using mods/cc ?
I just disabled mods and attempted to fertilize the plants. My sim's inventory was empty (I had fish in it before), and it wasn't allowing me to fertilize.
Did you put anything else in there ? You do need something to fertilize with.
An outdated version of MCCC can cause issues with inventory disappearing.
I tried updating MCCC. Still having inventory issues. I was able to fertilize a couple plants, but they haven't produced anything.
I didn't save my game because I had a pregnant sim 'give birth' at the hospital, then come home without a baby! It said she'd had a baby, but there was no sex announcement/naming and no baby.
Also, none of my kids are getting homework,

7339ea9702095310 Please test with no mods at all, and see the current Broken and Updated Mods and CC thread for some things you might have missed.
The game will no longer let me fertilize plants with other plant material. Only Fish.
7339ea9702095310 Please test mod-free to find out if this is mod-related. Drag the Mods folder to the desktop and rename it, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
