[PLEASE READ] Save Game Corruption

Hey everyone, I am sharing an update on my save regarding the Error 801 issue.
First off, huge thanks to pessyl92 for the tutorial and all the tips! I followed the steps using Sims4Studio and managed to regain access to the lot that was giving me the error. I reverted to a save from before the bug, saved the house to my Gallery, and then placed it back on the same lot. Everything seemed fine at first. I moved my household back in and played for about an hour to test stability. No issues on that lot.
Since everything seemed stable, I decided to repopulate other lots in Willow Creek that had been wiped by the bug. I bulldozed them and downloaded new lots from the Gallery, creating new saves after each one. I successfully did this on four lots, but then, boom... Error 801 popped up again!
I repeated the Sims4Studio process and was able to access the newly bugged lot. However, as I continued, yet another different lot bugged out with the same error. This confirms - at least to me - what others have reported here and in other posts: once the error starts appearing in a save, it tends to spread, affecting more and more lots. I haven’t identified a clear pattern yet, but it’s definitely a persistent issue.
At this point, I reverted to the save where I first used pessyl92's tutorial but decided to try a different approach before repopulating WC:
- Cleared the bugged lot using Sims4Studio
- Reduced the number of "For Rental" lots across different Worlds. I had 16 rental lots in my save and brought it down to 10. (To do this, I had to sell some lots that my households owned)
- Significantly reduced the number of "My Households" to just 12 families. I usually play with many Sims and families, so I had at least 60 households. I moved all but 12 into "Other Households." Not sure if anyhow related, but I did it anyway... :)
- Removed all Households living "Not in World"
- Saved the game while actively playing as a household (instead of managing worlds).
- Bulldozed and replaced WC lots one by one in Build Mode with new lots from the Gallery.
- Moved families back in and started playing.
After following this process, I’ve played for at least 2 hours with no new Error 801 issues so far.
I hope this helps others dealing with the same problem. But more importantly, EA really needs to fix this bug! It’s clearly tied to "For Rental" lots in some way. I should be able to have as many rental lots as I want (!!!), but it seems like there’s some hidden limit where the game starts glitching and "clearing" the save. Absolutely ridiculous.
I’ll post more updates if anything else happens with my save.

Not hidden limit for rents but they told the limit is 100 units per save

Hello! How did you clear the bugged lot in Sims4Studio or is there a link to the tutorial please?

Hey how did you find the lot? I've been scrolling thru all my lots and couldn't find the corruption. Was there like a specific code?
