I just got this pack. If I do not create any rental lots for my saves is it safe? What about the world that came with the pack? Can I leave that as is or do I need to delete the rentals that come with it as well? I’ve been playing the same save since I got the game. I’d probably stop playing entirely before I’d make a whole new save to play.
You can play in Tomorang and even play with for rent lot.
PROBLEM IS WHEN YOU HAVE MORE "FOR RENT" LOTS IN SAVE and more families in save (yours or generated NPC). One-Two even Three "for rent" lots will not impact in your save

You mean the counter in the lower right corner in family management? It doesn't do anything
No, the settings where you decide what the maximum number of sims allowed in your game is. The 2nd number is what it recommends but there are 2 more options that are higher than that. My computer can handle more sims but I don’t want to destroy my save by raising that number too high
