[PLEASE READ] Save Game Corruption

I've just started having the issue of houses/lots disappearing, but I have never once placed a res rental lot!! I own the pack, but I've never even been on a rental lot. The only ones in my saves are the ones that come with that expansion pack. Sooo I feel like this can't be rental related?? For me it seems to just be huge lots with tons of objects, even starting over on fresh saves. I've also downloaded heavy builds from the gallery but they were made before For Rent even existed...so surely they can't be corrupted?

I almost think it's an issue that has building over the last few packs and every one they add just makes the saves bigger and more complex, which then starts to eat away at the game as it can't handle the load anymore. For Rent is a very heavy pack and so added a lot of 'weight' to the game straight away, so now more people are seeing the issue now suddenly.
People have been playing the same save for 10 years sometimes, have 40+ generations, 20GB screenshots( photos), use mods to stop the game from culling sims, have households with 8+ sims, 10 year old CC ( thousands), a million harvestables in inventories, 100 baby challenges, whole villages full of clutter on 64x64 lots... and so on. The game is just cracking from that and 90 packs is my theory. It starts to delete lots because it's running out of steam.
With Sims 3 you could do 3 generations and it started to crack already, every new pack I made a new save and household because adding new ones to existing saves was just a bad idea generally. We are used to Sims4 being able to to EVERYTHING, and it really can't. At one point they decided for Sims3 that we should be able to turn some packs off when playing, else the game couldn't deal anymore. That was after 5 years, now 11 years on with Sims4 we might be facing the same barrier.
