Quick question: can someohe, who've already encountered any of the save corruption size help to estimate if my savefile is at risk or not? The file size is ~13K KB, but I am playing rotationally with current Sim Counter at 212, 199 of which are my constant playables. And I know this number will grow soon if I continue playing.
I am very scared to loose progress on this huge world and hope you can help me to estimate the risk.
I haven't experienced this bug, but I think it's hard to pinpoint a specific size that triggers it or a size that's "safe". I've seen people say they've had it with saves smaller than 40MB, but it's probably most likely to happen to saves over 100 or 200MB.
The most common aggravating factor seems to be the number of residential rentals.
Having a computer with high specs also don't immunize saves from becoming corrupt. People running computers with the best specs that one can reasonably buy (4090s, lots of RAM, great CPUs) still experience this.
