I was redirected here with my problem, but I don't think any of this is actually causing it? The only one that might be possible is the amount of residential rentals, but I don't think I had that many.
I was playing and I noticed that the game started to have issues, for example not letting me save builds (took 20 times to save the last one), not letting me move households and eventually not letting me load households in lots. The game kept kept giving me this notification. So I basically can't play now.
I removed my mc command center mod, repaired the game three times. When that didn't solve anything I deinstalled the game and reinstalled it. Which took me back to the same issues. I then deinstalled again, removed all files from my computer, reinstalled and although it did let me start from the beginning completely, it still doesn't let me load into a household. It took me ages because I have all the packs. I didn't install the mc command centre mod either when I reinstalled the game.
I really don't know what else to do now. But this really sucks. What more can I do?
Is this with a new save? If not, have you tried removing some of the residential rentals, unhoused Sims, and/or ghosts?
