The laundry list is a list of what will be fixed in an upcoming patch (usually the next or the one after). This one needs more investigation to make it on that list but it's still being investigated (like any other issue that is under investigation or needs info).
So the remarks means: This issue wont' be fixed in the next patch but since people ask for extra acknowledgment (although under investigation is already more acknowledgment then we ever had at AHQ) they added it to inform.

I'm not sure we're asking for acknowledgment as much as we're asking for assurance that there's a fix on the horizon...or confirmation that there isn't. We're now nearing a year and a half since the release of For Rent, which marks the onset of this issue for many of the players reporting it. And it's not a minor annoyance like the rain indoors - it's a critical error that makes the game progressively less playable over time. Do we know whether a fix is even feasible or does the development team feel like it's just an unavoidable consequence of save file bloat that players need to manage?

It's a complex issue and the base issue has been in the game from start. The first threads date back to 2015. This is not an easy fix or investigation. I also don't think that there's just one reason for this happening which doesn't make it easier.
EA does usually not say when something will be fixed or how much longer it will take them. It probably has lots of legal reasons with EA being a shareholder company. I can only speak from experience though but I've not seen EA ever say, 'we are fixing this soon' other than what's on the laundry list.

It’s not a good look when they removed exclamation marks that were helping discover that something is wrong. They should go other way and show players that there is a problem as soon as possible.
I believe that they unfortunately do not respect players doing things like that and it’s showing.

I agree that this isn't typical. However, EA told me exactly that on a chat when I requested a refund after For Rent triggered the issues for me. I think that's why I feel extremely frustrated - I was told that a fix was on the horizon in order to avoid being issued a refund.
As a longtime rotational player, this was not an issue I've had since 2015, but rather an issue that I can pinpoint to the introduction of specific DLC. I understand that the issue predates For Rent, but again, it exploded in prevalence after the introduction of the Residential Rental lot type.- crinrict3 months agoHero+
I have no idea when this will be fixed or how far along they are.
If you want a refund, try another again with another support person.
I assume you have already disabled the pack ?

It was written many, many times before. It’s not For Rent issue, it was there many years before. With new DLCs, especially this one, it’s just more visible.
