[PLEASE READ] Save Game Corruption

We all need to continue sharing are experiences with this game destroying bug as much as we can. I am also sharing this in the comment sections of Sims YouTube personalities because they need to do a better job of talking about this more and using their influence to encourage the EA/Sims Team to put a fix for this at the top of their priority list! To my knowledge, I don’t know of any other video game currently on the market that has a problem that is this severe and widespread and can completely stop someone from being able to play the game! However, it will eventually reach a point that if they don’t “buckle down” and make fixing this bug their top priority, save corruption will continue to plague more and more players as new content is added that the game will not be able to continue into the future because no one will be able to play it!

I used AI to help me develop a workaround just to be able to play my game after I added Lovestruck and Life & Death and I found out part of the problem is that there may possibly be a link between the # of objects (or polygons that comprise every object) that the game can handle which kind of explains the disappearing objects when this unknown # of objects limit has been exceeded. However, at the present time, I can not add any new builds and I have not added any content since Life & Death because my game will not hold any more without causing corrupted saves until they come up with a fix. I certainly hope that it is not true that EA/the Sims Team have simply “given up” on fixing this because those of us like myself that have spent over a thousand dollars on the game that they expected to be able to play “forever” have just lost the investment of the time and money we put in the game trusting that the Sims Team would fix problems like this!
