[PS] Pop-up menus get stuck on screen

All I could find related to stuck pop-ups is this thread: [OPEN] [PS/XB] Pop-up Menus Get stuck on Screen | EA Forums - 11475572 but that doesn't seem to be related to moving objects.

Thanks crinrict! Yeah, I have never had the specific bug described in that post, and mine has no way to go to Manage Worlds or interact in any capacity, but it has been a bug since I started playing about 5-6 years ago. I did want to note that this bug happens 100% of the time that I get pop-ups while moving an object (I know I said "several occasions", so I just wanted to clarify!). 

The simplest way I would replicate this is by picking up an object after having a sim start writing a book, then just waiting for the book title pop-up. This happens for any type of pop-up, though, whether it's discovery traits, random job/business decisions, discovery trait decisions, etc.

When trying to do a planned stay over, the drop down menu that asks for a time to start has two boxes overlayed on it, the game is unable to proceed with the planned stay as it’s stuck on this pop up. I can get the save menu open, and can sometimes save but the game doesn’t actually save. Have tried closing the game and reopening but the problem persists. 

To add, following this, closing/ reloading the game, restarting the PlayStation and restarting the game it still continues, but have now also found that when I get the pop up telling me the enchanted by nature event has been extended and to claim items etc if I click on them, I then can’t get back off them again. I’ve literally spent hours this evening attempting to play a game and getting absolutely nowhere. Incredibly frustrating. My game was working fine a week ago. I haven’t downloaded any new content and obviously have no external mods due to it being ps5. 

Also a “proper” cursor keeps coming on the screen rather than the fun sims one. If that makes sense 

Whenever I try to make a sim and pause my game, the menu won't disappear no matter how many times I press the button. It always seems to happen after I choose an aspiration or trait. It's really starting to tick me off, so if I can have some advice or a fix that'd be great.
