The Sims 4 Crashing

Is anyone else having this issue with constant crashing? It crashes with mods and without mods. Since this new update i cant play more than 30 mins before it crashes. I thought maybe it was a computer update i did on my computer and i literally factory reset my computer because i wasn't sure which update caused the issue and it still crashed. From what i have gathered from others is that It seems to be an issue with powerful graphics cards or the NVIDIA graphics card specifically. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Had the graphics card checked out to make sure it wasn't faulty. Turned off everything in the background that helps with performance of the game and it still constantly crashes. I'm surprised that more people have not reported this issue because i know it's not just me. My computer is only 2 years old and i NEVER had this issue before this last update.
