Tooltip and growth chart keeps disappearing from plants

I wasn't interacting with crows with my Sim when this happened to me. But I was living in Ravenwood. Maybe there is more than one trigger to this bug.

It's good that you have found out it can have something to do with crows and that you shared the info here. This bug is already verified to be a bug by Maxis QA and next we just have to waite when it will move forward in the process. 

Same here, I thought it was because I updated the greenhouse a lil bit or something. Everdew. 

The same thing has been happening in my game. I would say it takes about 1 in-game day for the tooltip to disappear. Mine has nothing to do with a crow or Ravenwood. My sim is in Henford on Bagley. Very annoying as I am trying to have a sim do flower arranging and gardening.

Update: I found something that temporarily works for me. Go into build mode and pick up one of the plants, then place it back down in the same spot. Exit build mode/enter live mode again and the info panel should pop up again for some time. 

I JUST ran into this problem today. But unlike some of the comments, I don't have any crows being met or anything...
I'm in Brindleton Bay, and the info for plants displays OUTSIDE the greenhouse I built, and planted in the ground. 
But, the plants INSIDE, inside a planter, no info/growth chart appears at all. I just started this save too, and all my sim has done is met new sim friends, started some skills, and added a dog to the household. 

I'm having this problem, too. My child Sim did meet a crow in Ravenwood, so perhaps that is what triggered it. I have to see again when I load back into the game. My game is updated and I didn't notice until after the most recent update, specifically today.

For me, simply traveling to Ravenwood (or living in Ravenwood) seems to cause the plant tooltips to disappear. Quiting and repairing the game fixes them. It's not really game breaking, except not being able to quickly see plant needs.

Is there any other way to see what kind of plant it is?  I can't always remember and with the hover not working, I'm beyond annoyed.
