Townie Outfit Generator Creates Incoherent/ Mismatched Clothing Combinations

I have this issue, but my pre made townies from myself started randomly generating outfits and wearing them 

I don't think this is really a bug, but rather a poorly designed mechanic. A practical solution to this would be to allow us to create and save our own styled looks (as well as upload and download from the gallery, like tattoos), and then the townies only generate using styled looks you have in your game. 

the funny thing is that there are styled outfits in cas! i think they should be given to all random townies for sure.

I am desperate to be able to save and upload our own styled looks to the gallery. I'm not much of a CAS simmer, so being able to rely on other players' superior senses of fashion would improve the game for me so much. Also, sometimes I like an outfit that I made for one sim and want to be able to use it for others (like when they age up) instead of having to spend ages going through and picking everything again. 

I agree that this isn't really a bug so much as a basic mechanic that consistently produces poor results, and also agree that even just pulling from the styled looks that are already in the game would be a major improvement. Even better if they'd give the option of not spawning townies at all, but I'll take what I can get. 

It's pretty bad when Lorelai's outfit when she brings Rory to her first day at Chilton (Gilmore Girls) is the peak of fashion compared to Sims 4 randomly generated townie outfits lol

The worst part is that if a student is generated with bad makeup, I won't be able to fix it. I can change all their outfits, but they still keep wearing this makeup with their school uniforms.

I have a townie I moved into a lot.  What happens is she had a default outfit she came into the lot with.  I have added other outfits but the default outfit will overlay her other outfits when she goes from world to world.  This default outfit (first outfit on first tab in create-a-sim) will then overlay other outfits i change when I go from world to world.  And when the sim returns to the home lot all her outfits are then overlaid to her default.  But when I go into create-a-sim the outfits are back, the outfits I added are there and I just click to return to base game and they are fixed.  The created sim does not have this problem only this townie i moved into the lot.   

Now what is really weird is last night i had this sim change into an outfit that I had not chose and she melded with other features like a grey beard and a weird outfit I had no recollection to selecting it.  She looked really weird.   That change was only on the PJ area.  I did not fix that problem yet.   Not sure why.  But the sim looked like something out of a horror movie.  Like two different sims overlaying each other.  I usually change my sims using the outfit change on the sims pie menu.  I don't usually use an object to change the sim other than a mirror to going into CAS.  

When i go to another world the other night I was able to change the sim (no recollection of what world or lot I was on).   And her outfits straightened out.  Hope this helps.  

I know you have tons of bugs from last update and I was just waiting for new update for fixes.  I have just been fixing it as I go along where I can.  My other townie I had did not have any issues that I recall but I did not move him from lot to lot in gameplay and since moved him out.  

I don’t know why but after EbN came out every single townie spawns with the EbN braided headband or the big bow headband (can’t remember if that’s from a pack or BG) and half the time it’s clipping weirdly through their hair. I’m just… so tired of the nonsense and I really don’t think I should have to micromanage the townies’ fashion choices with a mod.

It's literally in any new game, even in CAS if you create a Sim with the storymode or just roll the dice, the outfits are hideous and you always need to change them, even if you age-up a sim the same thing happens, and in some other occasions like just going to a lot and looking at townies (NPC generated ones)

these are just some of them, and mind you this isn't the worst yet. But like i said its super easy to recreate that in game. They look hideous and the outfit choices are really bad: so much ugly accessories, ugly makeup, not matching colors/patters/style, socks with heels, random gloves, the list goes on and its supper annoying and immersion-breaking, it wasn't as bad in the beginning of the game as it is now......
