Game lags DF 2042
Hello! I ran into this problem when I start playing the game in the first 5-10 minutes everything is fine, and then there are freezes and players + all the equipment is teleported. I looked at the performance graph and there the CFT jumps help me solve this problem (Moved to EN boards)
Time waiting
I know this game is old but it is getting ridiculous waiting for a game even during the weekends. 16 to start? We sit here and sit here 14 one leaves, 15 two leave, 16 one leaves, the counter stops. over and over and then when we get in the game, it is full of AI????? why do you need to keep everyone waiting for 20 minutes just to shove bots in anyway. Do the same thing you do to hazard mode. 12 wait not enough 8 wait not enough 4 wait.. Sitting around map after map waiting for 16 people is dumb.........
Make destroying vehicles more rewarding
So many games (with randoms) are just lost because people dont destroy vehicles. Teach them the importance. Make it more rewarding. And the feeling when getting one rocket in just to be hunted down by the tank is not very rewarding either. Dont let the tanks retreat and self heal, it just feels wrong and very unsatisfying. Vehicles are NOT too strong, Rockets are NOT too weak. But too many people don´t care or don´t want to fight vehicles. And then vehicles become too strong if not countered enough. A lot of players (coming from other shooter games) are not used to playing with or against vehicles. Teach them! And make playing against them and destroying them more satisfying and rewarding. At the moment it is just an unsatisfying duty I try to fulfill because else the game is lost. Thanks for listening.
What will EA have to do to earn your trust back?
What will EA HAVE to include in the next Battlefield game for you to trust them again and for you to even contemplate buying it? For example if they say it will have a server browser but bring back specialists? Will you buy it? Hi. Okay, when I get painted and something gonna lock me, I flare. Since there is delay, usually when I flare, missile is shot, even tho it's still showing me I'm getting locked. I flare right after getting locked by something cause m5 and rpg velocity is fast and I die before I get actually message of missile shot if close, so I use cautions. But with IFV it's differently. I get painted by soflam, something is locking (ifv guided), I hear missile shot sound, I flare. All disappears, no lockon sound, no incoming missiles and suddenly boom, I got shot by ifv guided which lockon broke but actually it did not. Can we stop using standby loaded cannons？
Seriously, I'm totally tired of complaining. This was the case with the LATV4 30mm cannon from the very beginning. This gun is perfect, it just shouldn't be mounted on a reconnaissance vehicle. LATV4 respawn has a short cooldown and a large number of deployable vehicles, which is too malignant for an environment where heavy ground vehicles are severely limited at the time. But it's designed with the right idea, high rate of fire, slow overheating, low damage, and a large splash range. It is more suitable for IFV. For the BMP2 and M3A3, both the original magazine gun and the overheating limit of the 2042 are good, and even to make a difference between them, it is only necessary to adjust the rate of fire and damage. The BMP2 can adjust the overheat limit to 15-20 rounds, increase the rate of fire, reduce damage, and adjust the amount of ammo needed to kill from 3-4 rounds to 6-8 rounds. The M3A3 can retain its current rate of fire and overheat limit of 8 or 10 rounds, and can reduce some damage if there is a concern that it will be too lethal. My opinion is that IFV needs more suppressive firepower than precision kills. Vehicles are mostly the main threat units with large sizes, and they don't have many comfortable conditions to snipe infantry, especially if the IFV is a front-line support unit. Sacrificing sustained firepower and high damage at a single point brings a very low margin for error, and every shot needs to be accurately hit, otherwise there is no threat to enemy infantry. So if you want to be efficient in this firing mode, you should have a rear point, but doesn't this turn into infantry fighting on the front line and vehicles at leisure in the rear?
2042 vehicle mounted TOW
I don't remember the vehicle-mounted TOW on some 2042 vehicles being extremely slow compared to the BF3 TOW. Please explain to me why they nerfed it so badly. Also, why did they remove the 30, 40, and 57mm main gun options for the 2043 Wildcat vehicle???? please at least fix the 2042 mounted TOW ( let it be used by the LATv recon truck and keep it on the M5C Bolte).Swedish crossplay server request
Hi , A swedish server for crossplay players would be a good way for a better gameplay . Instead of being connected to Frankfurt , Germany with a ping that creates issues. Specially for players who use Xcloud , and Geforce that have servers in Stockholm. A lower ping would create a better game experience . Over and out !Hard to Find Matches
New player and barely can find any matches unless it's portal which is heavily modified . Even with crossplay on . 2042 was on the top of my list before buying the ps5 . Now I'm very disappointed . Conquest Hardcore needs some work
Yes I know its temporary, yes I know there are measures in place to prevent tk, however... There needs to be something in place in comroses or 3d spotting like a 3/4 spot option in place to warn others to be aware that there will be a frigging incoming kerosene bomb nuke in place at a specific location and or a way not to tk with HE rounds from Draugr and tanks... The amount of unintentional tk I got with a kerosene despite telling people to be aware is absurd...at least make the ally dots visible from a distance (if someone has a color that works if I struggle with blues on eyesight, lmk) Sure while we're at it in cqc maps like redacted, let's mention the idiots that * at you while using Crawfords minuligun Mainly the fact that people can tk you intentionally, revive you, do it again and again and again and you can't stop it unless maybe moving squads and locking it for griefers. It needs to be reworked There used to be commander mode in bf4 that warned allies and squad mates about a heavy enemy presence AND to gtfo before a nuke... Give us something so anti tk procedures don't kill us if we kill friendlies accidentally while in Draugr with nukes/HE rounds. Off topic...why do APS systems block AP draugr rounds...they are AP bullets no? I get HE rounds but why AP?!File a formal complaint
I would like to file a formal complaint against EA Support. Previous topics about this have replies from Answers HQ saying they can do it here, so that's what I'm doing. I play BF2042 and have played BF in general since the series was created. I randomly received a Ban yesterday with a claim of 'cheating', but no evidence or background. I filed an appeal and they just said, 'our system says you were cheating so you are', still with no evidence. I have never cheated in any game, ever, and have been playing online games for over 2 decades with no issues. This is personally insulting after putting so much money into EA to have them just say 'screw you and the horse you rode in on.' Does EA not consider the possibility of false positives? There are hundreds of examples out there of people just waking up to a ban with EA offering no evidence or support. Live chat appears disabled. Phone support is a dead service and the options for a rep just hang up on you. I demand this be reviewed by escalated support and I be given evidence of this claim. I'm 38 with 5 kids, and this is one of the few things I have after work to relax and I won't just sit by while it's stolen from me by incompetent systems.
