Banned from Battlefield 2042 over no actual reason
So, I bought Battlefield 2042 yesterday, downloaded it, and play a total of around an hour or two, before I got slapped with a ban for cheating. Now, I don't know what could have triggered this ban, as I had like 12 kills, so my stats couldn't trigger it either. My guess is that there was a cheater in the game (possibly my squad, which I was dropped into from quick matchmaking), or having some software such as Process Hacker (it's just an improved task manager, although it wasn't open) I've only had AMD monitoring, Discord PTB, EA, Battlefield, MalwareBytes and OVR (Meta Quest) open. I've looked at the forum and seen many other people banned for no actual reason aswell. What's going on with EA? I will take actions if necessary. Based in EU, used Revolut, not much that EA can do.

Hello Gamers, Here is a quick rundown of what I have tried and what EA is doing right now. I tried appealing, and they would respond with copy-paste replies. No proof of cheating, just that I violated ToS point 6. I submitted a request to the Better Business Bureau, and they used similar copy and paste and closed the ticket eventually. I tried submitting a request to eaprivacy @ ea and dpo @ ea also failed, but they offered more information. I was seriously considering getting an attorney at this point to prove my innocence..... Our anti-cheat technology detected that you used an unauthorized software application that facilitates cheating during one of the sessions identified in the attached file. Players may not use tools like free or commercially available cheat engines and/or specialized scripting software to augment gameplay as this provides them with an unfair advantage and does not foster a fair gaming environment. Our team detected that you are intentionally engaged in “boosting”. Boosting can include win, or kill trading, abusing game features in an unintended manner, or otherwise manipulating in-game systems with or without the collaboration of others to gain an unfair advantage. Our team detected that you engaged in excessive teamkilling. In some game modes, it is possible to kill your teammates – a behavior referred to as “teamkilling.” When this occurs excessively, it prevents the normal flow of gameplay and degrades the game experience of others. Currently here: I went on LinkedIn and messaged three people who had "anticheat at EA" as their job title. They are investigating the whole thing now themselves. I also mentioned that there had been a ton of bans, and it seems strange to me. These bans don't just happen on BF2042 but on multiple EA titles. I mentioned reading the forums on here, on Steam, and Reddit, and I see a ton of people getting. Please upvote this so it stays on the top page, and other users who get banned can see it. EDIT: My ban was overturned this morning! Still don't know what caused it, waiting to hear more, hopefully.
Banned for COMPETITIVE_ADVANTAGE??
My BF2042 has been banned.. in my account data it says this ?? Ban reason: COMPETITIVE_ADVANTAGE I am only playing battlefield in Coop mode with my son locally (with bots) what the freak??? i dont think i ever played it online.. and now they just ban me ?? I disputed it, and they just enforced the ban ? - how can they just do this, it isnt because of cheats or anything else.. i only have Geforce experience, steam, logitech G hub and streamDeck app installed on my Windows 11 pc so now i am not able to play with my son anymore... great stuff EA .. really great. do anyone have contact details so i can get in touch with a real human at EA instead of this apparently BOT/AI system they have for disbuting I have had my account since 2009 and all my other Battlefield games works without issues... i have about 100 hours in BF2042 - i really dont care about progress etc. since i am just playing for fun with my son. So BF2042 has an expiration date for players if they play to much apperently they get a "competative advantage" BAN ?????How to Fix EA App Login Issues?
Hello! I've been having trouble logging into the EA app. Sometimes it gets stuck on the loading screen, and other times I receive an error message saying my credentials are incorrect—even though I’m sure they’re right. I’ve tried clearing the cache and reinstalling the app, but the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced this? Any troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!
Javelin Anti-Cheat
Guys, I do not think it is working at all. Just came out of a game of breakthrough where the top 5 players on the attacking team steamrolled us, 2 rounds straight with very suspicious in-game behaviour. Wall banging, target snapping, enemies TTK very, very short and not registered as headshots, where as defending team despite shooting at them could not kill them, or it took at least 3 players to down them, which didn't happen very often. Then there is what appeared to be instant reload, as in no cooldown, and weapons breaching geometry when using standard issue ammo. By geometry I mean, a bunch of deployed cover in front of metal crates etc. Another tell-tale way to identify these players I have found is that they always leave before the end of the round and then rejoin. The ones that you do manage to lookup on Battlefield Tracker, well their stats do not match their in-game actions or apparent skill.
Positive Play Charter
Hi All, Just here to ask, who actually moderates this in-game and what is considered positive... I recently got a ban for 197 hours for : Get a Job you Bum Which was ultimately taken out of context, it was aimed at a sweaty, skilled player and we were having banter during a few rounds about how good they were and how they kept creaming the team and rolling the rounds. I could accept the ban, if I thought my comment was malicious.... it was neither hateful, profanity nor harmful in context, yet I see no other reason for the ban on those words either when taken out of context like they were. I also find it strange that this afternoon I was told by a Chinese (they identified themselves and mentioned Hong Kong servers) player that whites are so arrogant, and are called pigs and well you get the rest. Yet this player is still online, and to my knowledge getting away with racism. I made jokes towards a sweat lord who is rank S400 or something like that and I get a ban, yet this racist is allowed to continue down the path of wishing for the death of all white people. It doesn't make sense, the last time I checked China is Caucasian - the clue is in the title of the group Cauc-ASIAN so why so much hate online towards other white people, nations?
Remove Barge and El Alamein from the 64 conquest.
Matching the bulge and El Alamein in 64 conquests makes combat not fun at all on the same unobstructed tourist map as in the days of Season 0. Why repeat these mistakes over and over again? No one wants to discourage the game and reduce the population more, even though it is a game with a small population. I would like to see the removal of the bulge and El Alamein ASAP.
Banned for no reason today!
I play Battlefield since bad company 2. Never cheated on a online game in my life. Today i played Battlefield 2042 a couple of rounds. In the middle of a normal round with a normal kill/death ration means a couple of more kills than deaths i get disconnected and at the same time a email my account is banned for cheating/aimbot. In my 49 years of life i never cheated in online games. I already appealed the decision but i could see that more people have/had this problem. I spent near 1500 Hours on BF 2042. Worked hard to get my kill death ration over 1 after i was killed in the beginning again and again. And that is how EA treats honest players?Are You Serious????
Y'all try to tell me that we have to play this Domination & TDM playlist till May 6??? WTF!!!! Put the game modes on SEPERATE tabs!!! What is the purpose of doing this? Why are y'all forcing us to play this mode? We want TDM by itself!!! Conquest is not made for everyone!! I paid $120 for this game when its first release and their wasn't no TDM in the game until 2 months, maybe more(can't remember exactly). This is ridiculous!!! Then y'all took Free For All out of the game. Ppl liked this game mode!! I know this is the 2nd quarter of the year and y'all need something to do, but come on!!! Leave the basic games modes ALONE!!! Then y'all wondering why ppl go to COD. GET IT TOGETHER EA!!! Listen to the consumers. Thank you!!!
