Game Crashing at Loading Screen
I’ve always had issues with the game crashing (mid game, recruiting screen etc) however after one crash my game now crashes at the load screen and cannot even make it to the menu. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times. Has anyone had this happen to them? Any fixes or recommendations? Thanks. When I try to play NCAA 26 today, I was met with several issues including the below. 1-music playing but no screen options available. 2-I hear clicking when I move the thumb sticks as if onscreen options are being toggled through. 3-Sign into EA (right trigger) is the only option on the screen, but I know I am/was logged in. Receivers are getting awarded catches when the ball clearly hits the grounds and is no way a catch. Like receiver will go up for a catch gets hit ball will bounce around hit the turf and you give the offense a catch. Replay clearly shows the receiver never caught the ball in anyway before hitting ground and ball is on the ground while receiver is in the air. Unsuccessful challenge. Another game opponent runs speed option. Way late on his pitch while being tackled. And everytime like 100% I seen this happen, it's a fumble. This time ball just hits the ground and says incomplete pass. Another game opponent catches ball in end zone and it gets ripped out and opponent gets td. I say this one because similar thing happen when I was offense throwing a TD pass and don't get the TD. Another game DB makes break on ball to get pick. Somehow the ball goes straight thru diamond of his hands for a completion for the offense into triple coverage. This also happens with the Tight End on offense. There won't be a soul near the tight end on a pass, especially short pass and the ball goes right thru diamond of his hands. One game I won, 34-28. End of game it says I won 35-28. Flexbone triple option needs so many buffs to be even close to competitive. All anybody does against it is send an all out blitz, put option rules on and at that point the game is over. The user is going to be able to flow perfectly over the top never get picked up and blow up the play to either sideline cause he isn’t even considered the “pitch” guy. If option is even going to exist as a possible offense the following needs to happen 1: the dive part of triple needs to be the best dive play in the game, it should take the whole defense being aware of it cause IT DOES 2: you should be able to change who the pitch guy is, if you know the user mlb is going to come fly out change the pitch guy to him and have them block someone else 3: the passing plays out of flexbone have to actually be able to beat them deep, that is how passing out of flexbone works in real life. You run run run run and then when they start playing up for the run you hit them over the top, this game doesn’t let you hit them over the top even when there isn’t a guy more than 5 yards off the LOS 4: option shield, this is an easy one but put it in the game for ultimate team. Super easy I sadly know nothing is going to happen from this post but it is just frustrating that a very fun offense is just not playable in my favorite game mode cause it is so easy to render useless. is anybody having issues with an inability to load into an online dynasty or road to the cfp? When I fire the game up it gives me an “unable to download latest roster message” preventing me from playing road to the cfp. Then when I tried to load up an online dynasty it’s showing an issue with the team builder import process and kicks me to the main menu. Are you telling me someone has a season and career “Health bar” so they can’t recover from injury??? This is the furthest from realistic you could get, you guys had it right in 25. Hey all, Now that we have had two games to digest, I wanted to write up how I think Custom Playbooks could be improved and how it would be hugely beneficial to the game. I hope this reaches someone at EA, as many of us will agree with most of these statements. The ship has sailed for any of this to be put into CFB26 aside from the bug fixes, but the rest can and should be considered for CFB27: Custom Playbooks should be allowed in Online Mode such as Road to CFP and CUT I don’t play these modes, but there isn’t really a reason to not allow them. If I want to run flexbone with UGA then that is what I want to do. The idea of forcing others to play the way you think the game should be played is a tired idea. If a player loading up on broken plays or cheese plays is a concern, what better way to discover them and patch them quickly than allowing them to be exposed? Custom Playbooks need to be debugged Currently Custom Playbooks have some bugs, such as defaulting to onside kick for kickoffs, and not allowing you to select any play besides Hail Mary when forced to go for 2 in the 2nd Overtime. These need to be addressed ASAP. Custom playbook Formation and Play ordering need to be more customizable Reordering of formations in the play call select screen Reordering of plays within a formation Custom playbooks need to allow for formation subs Self-explanatory. “Set Up” Plays need to be brought back or visualized Not about playbooks per se, as this was an old feature I think in NCAA 14, but it had linked plays that set up each other. For example, in I Form Pro it would be something like HB Dive and PA Dagger. Once you ran the dive successfully enough times it would “set up” the PA Dagger and increase the chance that the defense bites on the PA and vice versa. I’m not sure if this is already present via a hidden mechanic in the game, but visualizing it would be great. If they brought it back then they could also: Add indicators in the Custom Playbook building screen showing what plays are linked together Gameplan/ Coaching suggestions in the Custom Playbook builder needs an overhaul There needs to be more scenarios/ categories: Opening Drive plays: Specific plays you want to call only during opening drives of the 1st or 2nd half. Shot Plays: Specific plays that only get suggested when you get a turnover or are available in a cycle screen. Specials (Trick Plays): Available in a cycle screen. Matchups: Plays that exploit specific depth chart mismatches. Scenario flexibility Let users assign as many plays as they want to each scenario. Show all plays in a scenario when it’s triggered. Simplify the assignment system — ditch the star/rating system. Show which scenarios a play is already assigned to. Add a filter to show unassigned plays. In-game enhancements Allow cycling through different play types (trick plays, shot plays, etc.) within coaching suggestions. Allow package subs in coaching suggestions (e.g., spell HB). Show number of calls and average yards per play in-game. Add a “flag for review” option for plays that need testing in practice mode. Scouting reports and opponent tendencies Let us incorporate scouting reports into coaching suggestions. For example: Your opponent calls: Cover 4: 40% Cover 3: 30% Cover 2: 10% Man Coverage: 10% Man 0 Blitz: 5% Cover 6/9: 5% Then allow us to assign plays to a “Scheme Beaters” category that shows up in coaching suggestions. I love the game of College football, yet last year and this years games highlight the issues carried over from Madden with gameplay. I recent played three games, and kept seeing the same issues that plague gameplay of the game. So I will point out the three issues that have haunted madden for a better part of 10 years, all the way back to the ps3 games. First is the unmistakable cpu phasing through a user player to make a catch whether its on offensive or defense. It happens way too much depending the temp of the game. It's like the game can't decide what the play is and just intupts the process by favoring the cpu. It's an issue that has been called out for for the last several years. At other times, it's not a catch but a tackle the cpu can just phase through a blocker and tackle. It showcase the broken tackling in the game, as well the user vs cpu issues. Like one guy could tackle a big rb for the cpu but if the user does it, that same back just bashes through 2 or 3 players at a time. I doesn't happen too much but one can see this issue happen several times in the game...plus this is with all the abilities turned off to get a better picture of the favor cpu gameplay vs the user. Second is the biggest difference in the game that plagues Madden and now college. Its the blocking logic. I have pointed out the issues, and so have other people dating back for several years. The blocking logic for the user is this. User blockers are freshman players, making bad choices and not sense blocking. Cpu blockering is starters, and at times go up to all star blocking. It makes the game unbalanced. So basically, if the cpu blitz, your team doesn't pick it up even if you change the protection, most times two or three OL block on player or none at all, letting the DL, DE, and LB to rush in perfectly for a nice 10 yard sack. It happens way too much to say its the user player. Now if its flipped, user is defense, they block perfectly even on a blitz. Even after they get beat on a play, the logic for cpu actually does the right thing in blocking most of the time, like sliding another OL to block, or RB. Yet User sees the opposite affects. This also happens on run plays when the WR and TE don't block at all, sometimes just picking their noses, yet cpu blocks all to well. Third thing. Its is more about reaction and reacting to a play. I noticed big time when it comes to sacks, there is a chunk of times the cpu Qb can be tackled and still toss the ball away. One play is a on a blitz, the cpu can be hit by two players and still toss the ball ten yards and more. Flip it, and its always a sack. The gameplay doesn't react fast for the user but for the cpu. Many times one can see the arm moving forward, ball coming out only to have it negated by the gameplay and thrust it becomes a sack. This impacts how the game reacts to the broken gameplay animations. This goes also goes for throwing plays. Wr goes for a catch but reaction is step behind the gameplay leading to missing catches, diving when its not needed. This is a result of the gameplay issue of cpu trying to make the animation of the play work but it slows down the responds time, and controller function of the user player. It happens on when one is on defense, using resulting in missed moves. Countless times a user could be in the right spot for a pick and the gameplay logs them down to not make the catch or the reaction is no part of the play like sometimes just tackling instead of picking the ball off. Allot of this is part of both college games, and madden for the last several years. I played several games on four games, college and madden. In one game, college. I was losing by three at half time. The game was a tough one, even with some gameplay flaws happening. It wasn't much until the second half. So first half, I had taken 1 sack, vs the cpu no sacks. No picks. Second half, 0 sacks vs cpu 6 sacks, with no picks for me, 4 for cpu. The gameplay changed, expected the game to change but it was how the gameplay changed in favor of the cpu. The sacks happened to easy, most not on blitz, as blocking gave up second into the play. The picks was the common cpu thing of being behind the wr, only to phase through with the pick despite the user using the catch punches...literally the user was phased out of the play so the gameplay could force the pick. Even with adjustments to the gameplays, the gameplay in the game ignored the basics of football. Blocking was horrible for the user, the catching disappeared in the game and nine out of 10 times the gameplay flavored the cpu. At the end of two games, i took the lead to only lose by gameplay issues. One, was the cpu qb threw a hail mary, my players jumped up to block only to have the ball phase by their hands into the rb who well scored. the other was me running the clock out. they blitzed, I picked it up. Out of all the trophies that you have in the trophy, rivalries room, one of the longest and most prestigious rivalries in college football history is missing and that’s Ohio State versus Michigan. It’s one of the longest rivalries in college football. This is unacceptable. idk how to use this ,, but some suggestions i got is in the main settings,, we should and a dynasty mode setting so that way all new dynasties can start with the same settings, coach, sliders, etc. other thing is when checking player stats inside of dynasties,, unless im missing it,, it should be a way to filter out the players who have stats because the were the quarterback for a play or two. like maybe add a minimum games played type filter or pass attempts etc for the position.10Views0likes0CommentsBuildable Pipelines
I would like to add the ability for schools to lose pipelines and schools to develop new pipelines. No matter how bad Georgia is or how good I can make Delaware, the pipelines cannot be changed. If we have the ability to build a dynasty then our recruiting strategy should play a role in how I want to build my pipelines. Great game.
