Dragon Age Inquisition server connection error
I bought and played DA: Inquisition many years ago. I believe I was using Origin at the time. Two days ago, I decided to download it again. The pc I'm using has never before had the game installed on it. Every time I try to launch the game I get the following error (see attachment): We are unable to connect to EA servers to activate DragonAge: Inquistion - GOTY Edition on this computer using your account. Please try again later. I'm not using any mods. Other games launch just fine. Its not my firewall. I've cleared my registry. I've deleted the licenses folder's contents. I've reinstalled the game. So for clarity - I own Dragon Age 2 (and the Black Emporium). But I do not think I actually purchased any other DLC's. For some reason, I thought EA was giving them for free via their DLC for old games site where you can download and install them, but when I do that, it mentions (Unauthorized). In theory - this makes sense if you are supposed to purchase them. So I have 2 questions: Does EA only give you the option to download/install the DLC, but you in fact still need proof of purchasing the DLC in order to play it? Are there any options for buying the DLC that don't include purchasing DA2: Ultimate Edition? DA Inquisition will not continue story line
Hi, I have progressed to What Pride Had Wrought. I have solved the puzzles in the temple, and the door has opened to the Petioner Hall. I was playing Dragon Age II when the game crashed. At, first I wasn’t too bothered as old games crash all the time, but now I’m concerned as the EA launcher won’t let the steam game launch initialize. I keep getting the error message that says “there seems to be a problem on our end” (EA Launch app) without specifying said problem. DAI: Unable to Connect to EA Servers to Activate...
I have been dealing with this disaster for a week now. I just got a new gaming laptop and installed the EA app to play my games on it. Dragon Age: Inquisition will NOT load. When I let the process sit for 5-10 minutes, this window pops up: My only option is to exit. As you can see, there is no log-in option here. There never is. If I don't wait for this to pop up, I have to force-quit the DAI process (which does load), then end the ActivationUI process (which is the crux of the issue) in order to even close the EA App. I've been searching all over the internet (these forums, general searches, YouTube), and I have tried every single "fix" that I found. None of them have worked. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache, deleted folders and licenses, I've copied and pasted .dll files from one folder to another, I've forced specific DNS, I've prayed to the Cheese Wheel gods, and NOTHING IS WORKING. (And I do not have any Razer products, so that isn't it.) I've played this game for over a thousand hours between my gaming PC, and XBox, and this issue has never come up before. What's most discouraging is that I've seen this issue pop up many, many times with no solutions, even since the year the game was released! What is going on here? Why is there no fix for this? Can't Access Main Quests Anymore?
Hi, everyone! I've been replaying DA:I again, and, for some reason, it won't let me access the main questline. I went to play Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts, and the fast travel is greyed out. I saw an earlier post where someone mentioned loading an earlier save, but, when I did that, it wouldn't let me start any of the main quests I had been able to do previously, so now I'm not sure what to do. I've restarted the game, took out the mods (which were mostly cosmetic, but you never know), and even verified my game files through steam. At this point, I'm at a loss. Dragon Age: Inquisition missing DLCs when I try to load save
Exactly what the title says. I click continue on the menu screen and it says something along the lines of "this version of the game used DLCs, you don't have them" and lists the DLCs I "don't" have. I do have them, that's how I've been playing this entire time. My Xbox PC game pass subscription ran out and I renewed it, ever since then I can't continue my saved games. BTW I do use mods and I have the GOTY version of the game, which comes with all the DLCs because of my EA/Xbox game pass subscription Edit: I removed my mods for the time being, but the game still won't recognize the DLCs Update: The "missing DLC" issue has been solved, but a new problem has arisen. The error window at the start menu now says that my saved patch is a newer version and that I need to update to the latest patch. I found another post from five months ago detailing the same issue, and they were able to solve the issue. I tried the steps in one of the replies, but when I got to the Admin Command prompt and pasted the file path, it said it wasn't recognized as an internal or external command, operable program, or batch file. I then went to the Windows PowerShell, and it kept saying the term insert character is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. But when I just type "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Update\Patch\" it doesn't give me a success message or an error message.Solved271Views0likes13CommentsDragon age origins cant load

Hi, I'm trying to start a new game on Inquisition and personalize my decisions via DA Keep, but it keeps bringing the same error over and over again. :( 500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR The server encountered an unexpected error and was unable to complete your request. Please try again later. I've tried using different browsers, even trying it on my phone, but it keeps stating the same issue. How can this be fixed? Ive finished DAO and DA2 and I started DAI hoping to transfer my save only to see that I had to use Dragon Age Keep and when I made a new EA account to use it all I got was an error. Ive looked around and it seems like others are having the same issue but saying it was online a few weeks ago so is the problem being looked into or has EA just abandoned Dragon Age Keep? Also I had to make a new EA account as my old one was using an email I no longer have access to so does that effect my save at all? Dragon Age 2 Standard Edition-Ultimate Edition
I have Dragon Age 2 Standard on my account. A few years ago I picked up dlc packs for free because they were available. I noticed that in my library the game is listed as Standard Edition, not Ultimate Edition. To have the Ultimate version, the EA app asks you to purchase a new copy of the game. [Keep] Cannot Delete Old Heroes From Dragon Age Origins
Hello, I have recently encountered an issue withing Dragon Age Keep whereas I cannot delete old Hero entries made in Dragon Age Origins. For some background: the characters were created somewhere around 2015-2017 (yep, so a bit old) and I have since uninstalled and reinstalled DAO a few times, most recently 1 month ago, when I did a playthrough of a new character. The achievements and Word State info were not saved in Keep for this character (for achievements, no, I did not use cheats :D) ) so I had to manually modify some Tapestry info to match my playthrough choices (I am doing a series playthrough, so I wanted to see if the choices actually reflect throughout the titles - currently paying Inquisition). That's when I noticed that 4 characters that I created when I first got this game are still showing up there, but when trying to delete them I get error: Oops, an error occurred.. Is there some way that EA can delete them from my Keep account (and just keep the DAO character that I have right now in my active word state)? Also, the heroes that I want to delete from the DAO slot show as having 0 word state (Features in 0 word states) - I have tried to manually add them into another word state, in hopes that something will sync and I will be able to delete the hero, but no success... I was wondering if Dragon Age Inquisition will ever support mods on consoles (Xbox Series S/X) like Baldur's Gate 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 4, the Farming Simulator series, Cities: Skylines, Doom (2016), and Doom II. GAME BREAKING BUG - PLEASE HELP
So, some hours into the game, in the Ossuary, I cannot progress any further. After freeing Lucanis and defeating Fabricator Mini Boss, everything starts disintegrating, animations are missing, terrain is not loading, nothing works. Everything looks like in the picture attached. When I click any button - inventory, menu, etc - everything freezes. I have tried reloading, also started entire mission again, lower/higher graphic settings. Nothing works. Always same issues when I reach this part of Ossuary.
