Cannot Refund Newly Purchased Dragon Age II and No Support Available
Hello, I just purchased Dragon Age II: Ultimate Edition on the EA App and I would like to request a refund. However, it is simply unbelievable that your refund tool has been broken — my refund request keeps getting stuck on the final step and just keeps loading endlessly. On top of that, the report form does not even list Dragon Age II as an option, so I had no choice but to select Dragon Age: Inquisition instead. After writing the entire request carefully, I was then told that customer service does not handle this issue. So what am I supposed to do to get my refund? How can I request a refund for a game that your system won’t allow me to select, and a refund tool that won’t even submit the request? For reference: the actual game I need a refund for is Dragon Age II: Ultimate Edition, Order #1008226783083. I am fully eligible for a refund, and I don’t want to keep a game I do not need just because of a system malfunction. Please help me complete this refund. Thank you.
DAI can’t load saves from EA play
So I started playing inquisition through EA subscription on steam, played a little and decided that I like this game and I want to have it on my steam account. I bought steam version and started game without reinstalling or something like that. And now when I try to load my save from EA play version I keep getting this message. I would like to know if I can do something about it or should I just start new playthrough
Dragon Age Inquisition Xbox
Not sure if I can make this make sense at all. There has been quite a few issues with my lastest play through, more so than normal to the point of having to close and quite the game to restart almost every 10-15mins if I'm actually lucky. It started after making it to skyhold doesn't matter which area or map I'm on, but not been able to switch between party members. If the Inquisitior goes down and it switches to the next party member and you revive her/him you can't switch back to the Inquisitior you can switch to other party members but not the Inquisitior. Other issues I have had is not been able to move on to the next part of the mission. For example at the moment I have managed to get myself to Trespass DLC (without giving up) and it's worse, going through the mirrors only to get to the point of using the mark to open the way to the next mirror only the wall didn't disappear..... Had to close the game to go back and yes it worked but having to do this every section. Then we get to the deep roads to have a section not load the NPCs and then randomly the Inquisitior starts jumping!? I had to close the game twice with in mins for these two. There is more so much more that has been happening with this game. Is anyone else having issues? Any fixes other then closing the game and restarting?
DAO freeze on loading screen windows 11
I've been trying to revisit DAO after playing it years ago on an old laptop. I just got a new one with windows 11, redownloaded the game with the 4gb memory patch and followed my old mod list, however whenever i start a new game (whether it's the campaign, awakening, leliana's song, etc.) it freezes on the loading screen? The audio still works and i can still move the pc and interact but all i see is a frezon loading screen. I've set affinity to only one CPU, lowered all the graphics settings, prioritized it in the task manager and everything but it still persists. sometimes im able to get past the first cutscene by minimizing the window and reopening it, but once i transition areas or otherwise cause a new loading screen to appear it happens again.
Can't Launch Dragon Age 2 - Invalid license.
Hey, I tried all the solutions suggested in other forums to launch Dragon Age 2 on EA APP but with no luck. i read more than 4 forums and tried every solution. summary attached: Invalid license. Reason code = Missing DLL d3dx9_43.dll Error: 0x000000c1. even after all of this and 2 days of trying I am unable to launch it. hopefully you have sometime to look into this and help me play DA2 :).
DAI can’t connect to Dragon Age servers on console
I’ve tried both my Xbox and PS5, and I can’t get the game to connect to the servers. When I launch the game, it starts up as normal, but then endlessly tries to connect, but it never does. After a while it gives up, and I can’t play with my saved world state. I’ve made sure both the games and the console software are updated, and my internet connection is normal. Any advice on how to fix this?

I know very few people are playing Dragon Age 2 these days, but I’m trying to get the reward items through dragon age keep. I’m playing on PS3 and every time I hit request unlock, it just says to refresh the page and try again. My Dragon Age 2 (on EA) no longer has the DLC's. Just the Black Emporium. I have read that this occurred to many people when Origins app transition to the EA app. EA has released the DLC's for free, strangely as a separate installer (not via EA store). The problem is there appears to be a limbo for those that have the Standard Edition (or the Ultimate edition that may mistakenly be recorded as Standard) cannot load the free DLC's as the released DLC's aren't even compatible with the EA version. This reddit post clarifies the position. https://www.reddit.com/r/dragonage/comments/11pjcla/rant_on_ea_regarding_dragon_age_ii_dlcs_situation/ It seems those that have the game as Standard are completely unable to play the DLC's. Worse still if you acquired the Ultimate edition and it is now recorded as Standard, there is no way to get that back. Given the DLC's have been released for free (yet, remarkably don't even work with the EA edition) and since the Origin app was discontinued resulting in DLC being removed from accounts. Can EA just blanket upgrade everybody to Ultimate edition to ensure all DLC's are properly recorded? This will fix the issue I've seen where DLC has gone missing for some, and as the EA has already released the DLC for free (albeit doesn't work) it makes sense to simply ensure that DLC is available on the EA store to fix the missing DLC issues some are having. My Dragon Age 2 says ' Standard Edition owned', yet the Overview says 'In Dragon Age II Ultimate edition, you play as Hawke ...' Seems to be an unusual state where only DA2 Ultimate exists on the store, and some are stuck with Standard (or downgraded to Standard since EA App) and have no means to get working access to the DLC.New DAI addon
Hi. I want to See Dragon Age Inquisition continue. I really think its the best PS4 Game that came out. But i dont want to buy Valeguard. I think a new addon could work. Should we make a petition for this? Please keep answers short and just show if you like or not. I don't want this thread to become a discussion about Valeguard or DAI. Would you pay for another addon? Yes No? Regards
Dragon Age Origins UE Physical copy DLC Unauthorized
Hello! Similar issues are discussed a lot, but I haven't found a solution that works in my case. I like physical copies of games mainly for nostalgia, and recently got Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition as a physical copy. I have now installed it as well as all the bonus content (Awakening, bunch of special items and DLC stuff). However, they are all installed and enabled, but unauthorized. Due to the EA servers no longer available message, I can't log in from the game to authorize them either. I have the EA application, which recognized that I have the game and now I can launch it through there as well. I did that, but it made no difference. All of the content also shows up when I check add-ons from the EA app for DAO. Anyone had a similar situation? I think my game being a physical copy probably makes this a bit different than the usual fixes I've seen for the Steam or EA App purchased versions. I would like to actually play this from the physical version, just want to find a way to authorize the DLC content.Dragon Age II Steam purchase not accessible on EA app
Hello, I purchased DA ultimate edition as part of a Steam sale in Dec. I just finished DAO with zero problems on my Steam Deck and want to start DA2. I downloaded the game on my Steam Deck, linked my Steam and EA accounts and tried to play. I am getting a notice when I launch the game that “This title may have been downloaded to your device by another user who owns the game. Log into a different account or restart the app to try again.” I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I have signed out of the EA app. I’m not sure what else to do.Dragon Age Inquisition Crashing
Hello, I have an issue. I decided to replay the game recently and redownloaded it through steam. I managed to play for around 30 hours with no issues, reaching Skyhold. Once there I was trying to level up Cole and the game closed to desktop. There was no error message or anything and it didn't generate an event in event viewer, nor any dump file anywhere else. I figured it was just a random bug and went back to playing, but then it happened again, when I was walking through the Hinterlands. And then it kept happening in random places too. I thought, perhaps my save file got corrupted somehow? And tried creating a new character, which crashed right in the prologue, just before decide whether to take the mountain path or charge. Since then I have tried almost all the troubleshooting tips, but nothing worked for me and I do not know what to do anymore. My laptop is Asus Rog Strix G18 with the following specs: intel i9-14900HX CPU Nvidia rtx 4080 laptop GPU 32G of RAM Windows 11 I have tried: -Verifying game files through steam -Lowering my graphics settings -Playing in windowed borderless and windowed mode -Re-installing my drivers -DDU reinstalling both drivers for my integrated intel and nvidia gpu -DDU rolling back drivers for both my gpus -setting CPU affinity to different cores through process lasso (I have tried many configurations but none worked) -deleting the profile setting files and letting the game generate them again -setting exception for steam, ea app, dragon age.exe, the folder with dragon age.exe and save folder in windows defender -disabling turbo boost for CPU -clean boot -full re-install of the game, including the deletion of all shader caches (DX, Nvidia and Intel) None of these worked and I am at a loss now. The crashes are completely random and numerous I now have muscle memory for quicksaves, it's eating away at my sanity. Please help me somebody ;-;Deluded Chevalier
I can’t get into the fortress!! I know the soldiers are supposed to come out but they aren’t at all, I can’t find a way in and I can’t fight the door to just get the quest to complete! I walked around for two hours just trying to glitch in, and I couldn’t do that either, I’ve even tried with my horse! Does anyone have any ideas? I’ve tried uninstalling and redownloading, same issue, even going to an earlier save doesn’t work!DA2: Unable to launch
After playing DA2 Ultimate Edition (bought on Steam), it fails to launch on PC. I've been having issues with it from the start: the game wouldn't launch in full window mode and would crash frequently. Then it started having issues launching. I tried: Disabling every overlay possible (which did help at first, it seemed). Ending EA background processes. Running the game offline. Running the EA app as an administrator. EA app recovery. Verifying the file integrity in Steam. Reinstalling the EA app. Reinstalling the game. Nothing seems to be working now. The game is refusing to launch. Are there any reliable solutions, or should I just give up and get my refund? Here's the error I get:
