So, I just fired up the game for the 2nd time ever today and got this nugget. Duly searched the forum and no hits, Google - no hits. Anyone care to explain why? Have been running this alongside all the F1 games on PC since version 1 (now 2.0.19) literally just blocks of auto text and a '(Current)Window On Top' functionality (which I believe is actually supplanted by Windows Powertoys functionality (Win/Ctrl/T)). You can't just say you need to not run a piece of software without explaining why, thanks. EA_Groguet
A reference for more believable/realistic physics in F1 25
- The braking doesn't absurdly lock-up the car by generating absurd amount of understeer even with the lightest intensity as if it was unrefined. - the chassis has biref and quick rebound/porpoising after crossing bumps and kerbs( feels too slow in F1 25 and it's unrealistic ); - the engine sound and gear shift is more accurate, Watch yourself the video and compare to your job. Can't Hear Race Engineer in F1 25 (and F1 24)
Hey everyone, I’m having an ongoing issue in both F1 24 and now F1 25 — I can’t hear the race engineer at all. The subtitles appear, so I know he’s supposed to be speaking, but I get no audio from him. I’ve checked all my sound settings and they’re identical to my friends’, who don’t have this problem. Every other sound works perfectly — engine, effects, voice chat — just the engineer is silent. Could this be related to a missing or broken voice/language package on my PC? Or is there another known cause for this? Any help would be appreciated — I’d really like to get this working in F1 25. ThanksAre driver ratings connected to a EA account?
Hello! I decided to make an account because I wanted to check something involving driver ratings and I have been playing the older F1 titles for comparison. So in the older games if you were playing on console you would automatically sign into codemaster's racenet servers, which would obviously give you access to multiplayer or any other online features like driver rating updates. now I assume EA has taken over this kind of concept and put their own spin on it by requiring you to input a email and make a EA account instead of it all being automated. A few months ago I bought WRC on sale, I decided to use a tempmail address cause I didn't really want to use my actual personal email for a game that at the end of the day requires me to have a account to play online. I didn't really care much for it and it got blocked and banned a hour later cause of that, which was no big deal since I wanted to play singleplayer anyways. I didn't care much for multiplayer or any external online features. Fast forward to f1 25, I managed to pick up the game physically second hand so I didn't pay full price and I run into the same issue "your EA account is blocked yada yada" however with this season 2 update there's driver ratings!And in the older games you would have to go into your email through the online portion of the game to update the ratings (2021 did this) now I ask, are the driver ratings automatically applied on installation or do I have to have a EA account to update driver ratings? If it's the latter, that's ridiculous. I can't unlink the previous temp mail address because EA's whole thing about permanently linking a email to a Xbox account And I can't just simply switch it over to the current one I just made now today to fix this issue. The fact that a driver rating update is behind a account wall that, most people probably don't want to just simply throw their email at because knowing companies like EA they have data breaches all the time is unacceptable. Any response to clear this up would be nice, thank you.
Blue Distance Boards [minor feature request]
It seems that 100m distance boards have changed color to blue with white text, some time during the 2025 season. It’s been obviously visible for a quite a few races now, and it really helps distinguish the 100m board from the other ones. It would be really cool if this change was reflected in the game as well. It would also be really helpful, particularly for those of us racing without racing lines, to more easily spot the 100m boards. Hey everyone, I just have to vent about something that’s really making F1 25 frustrating for me—especially in the rain. It feels like only my car is losing massive time compared to the AI. I’m talking about 1 to 2 seconds per lap, and it’s not something that’s happening to everyone—just me! The AI cars seem completely unaffected or at least lose way less time, and it totally ruins the race. Honestly, it doesn’t make sense. I know wet conditions should be tough, but it feels like the game is punishing me specifically, while the AI just carries on like nothing’s changed. I’ve tried different setups, but nothing really helps. It’s not a general issue for all cars—just my car versus the AI. There are definitely some bugs or problems here. I’ve seen similar complaints about the AI not being affected by rain or tire wear in past games, and it’s really disappointing to see it still happening. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me? I really hope the devs take a look, because right now, wet races just aren’t any fun.Custom Calendars & New/Classic Circuits?!
We're in 2025 and there's still no way to completely customise the calendar to how we want it?! I'm so tired of the 10/16/24 options, allow us to completely customise our race seasons, we should be able to choose how many tracks we want in the season and where they're placed just like you can do online, it's so stupid that this is still not a thing in F1 games, also where the hell are classic tracks?! the game becomes so boring after 1-2 seasons because it's just the same tracks over and over again, why alongside with the custom calendars can't we have tracks returning so you can add them from S2 onwards, we need these sorts of content updates to keep the game's lifecycle, where is Sepang, Hockenheimring, Nürburgring, Circuit Paul Ricard, Istanbul Park, Bahrain Outer layout etc? also we should get some tracks added to the game for the first time like Kyalami, Magny-Cours and I'm sure there's plenty of others that people want to see in the game, I'm so tired of having such basic content brought to us every single year, there's no replayability on F1 games unless you use mods and even then it's getting difficult, please EA/Codemasters we really need these things brought to the F1 game, instead we get "reversed circuits" when we DON'T need them, such a stupid and pointless addition to the game, how about you actually listen to your community and give us what we want?! these games are going to continue to die out if the content continues to be mediocre, so much could be done with the F1 games and yet it's just constantly abandoned every single year with basic updates being brought to us.Give me my money back EA
This game is crap. They should refund the R$400.00 I paid for the iconic edition. The AI is horrible, unbeatable in a straight line, the performance of the teams and drivers is random, they can't even update the performances. They're going to release a patch just for the movie. Screw those cars from the movie. We need a good game. Don't release the game any time soon. Wait until August. Who knows, maybe they'll release unfinished games full of bugs. Put the AI from F1 24 in this game. It's much better than the one they have today.Race Engineer Audio Crackling leads to Desktop Crash F1 25
So I am having an issue with my in race Team Comms, Any option I select with "Jeff" has him come back laggy, distorted and crackling then a few moments later my pc crashes to desktop without an error code or message. I have literally tried everything I can think of to fix this and I am not hard resetting my pc when this is just an F1 25 problem... has anyone else experienced this or found a fix for this?Career Mode Created Characters to be available for use in all future F1 games.
Allowing created players in Career Mode to carry over into future F1 games would provide a deeper, more immersive experience for fans who invest time in developing their custom driver’s legacy. This continuity would enhance long-term engagement, giving players a greater sense of progression, attachment, and realism across game installments—mirroring the real-world evolution of a racing career. I was playing the two-player career mode with my friend in Mexico when DRS was enabled. The strange thing is that it was raining heavily, yet DRS was permitted as early as lap 2. is it a bug? From a calendar point of view, the 10,16 or 24 selections are so out of date now and there is no reason for me why this can't become fully adjustable, say from 10 races onwards. Also, you absolutely should now be able to change the calendar order. Anyone who has seen F1 Manager footage knows this is more than possible. Track wise, I get licensing etc but come on... lets get Istanbul Park, Sepang, Hockenheim, Nurburgring, Paul Richard, Portimao and Mugello in the game as options to add to the calendar. Moving away from old gen consoles I'd love for this to be possible. I still think it sucks that you can't add your own character to myteam. Even if you end up releasing them and they join other teams it would be a cool feature. Lastly, pre-season testing would be good, maybe one or two sessions where you follow programmes to unlock R&D dependent on your performance.
