Snow games in madden 26 are kinda unplayable
I was happy for the new weather but for superstar especially you have to hold rb/r1 the whole time because its fumble after fumble, its to the point you restart first play fumble I mean I get it somewhat but they do train for this to and its a little unrealistic I hope this gets adressed day one patch because this makes heavy rain and heavy snow almost unplayable thats on pro so it doesn't make sense on pro for me and the Ai to just drop passes in superstar especially when I cant control my teammates in superstar it just punishes me when they drop it especially in the playoffsWEAR AND TEAR
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, let there be an option to turn off wear and tear on Superstar. We just want to have fun playing our career. Also lowering the max qb speed is lame as well but whatever. But please let us turn off this terrible wear and tear. Considering not even playing madden now because of itSuperstar sim option?
Why is there no option to sim any games in superstar mode. It is an option in cfb 26 why is it not present in this game? And no I will not just turn the quarter lengths to one minute just to tank my stats and my teammates. I’m pretty sure you can sim in every other game mode so why not this one. It was also absent in the last madden game which made me avoid superstar mode altogether, I just don’t want to play every game of my entire career. Game Mode: Madden NFL 26 Superstar Mode Platform: [Example: Xbox Series S / PS5 / PC] Description: While playing Superstar Mode, my Wide Receiver Jump Specialist build unexpectedly changed teams mid-season and was switched to the same team as my existing Running Back build. The game also changed his position from WR to RB, even though his archetype and ratings clearly remain for a WR Jump Specialist. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a WR Jump Specialist build in Superstar Mode and progress through the season. 2. Have a separate RB build on a different team. 3. Mid-season, switch between the WR and RB builds. 4. After switching, the WR build may be moved to the RB’s team and change position to RB. Notes: - WR stats and abilities remain, but the position label is RB. - This happened without any trade request or position change choice from me. - Happened right after switching back from my RB build to my WR build. Impact: This disrupts immersion and progression because my WR build is now listed as a RB and on a different team without my consent. Depth chart and XP progression may also be affected. Request: Please confirm if this bug is known and if there is a workaround or patch planned. Hi NFL Fans, I need some help. I'm holding off buying Madden 26 until I know the answer to just one question. In Superstar Mode, are you able to use of your custom created and saved roster from your roster list or like Madden 25 are you limited only to either the default or a downloaded roster? I want to play for the Cowboys, but I want Josh Allen as QB, etc., etc. Appreciate your help.

After finishing the preseason, I went to the next week and a glitch altered my “play game” selection tab and it is permanently stuck on just showing empty stats whenever I select it, as well as practices not showing up either. I kept going from week 1 to regular season week 10 without even seeing a game because of this glitch not letting me in, i tried restarting app but its not fixed. At first in Madden 26, we didn’t have any Superstar abilities at all. Now that they’re in, I feel like they’re really inconsistent. On top of that, I’m losing almost every press attempt, even with 99 Press and Press Elite Gold. Is anyone else running into this?Superstar Mode Issues
I have been a longtime madden player and keep being dissapointed every year with the quality of this mode. Please fix this or sell the Madden rights to a company that will actually honor the fans that buy your product. Even with the updated rosters it does not translate to this mode. Players stay on original teams from initial roster setup and do not appear on new teams even when starting career from scratch after update. When I run hurry up offense and audible a play the receivers run different routs than the one I selected. I still cannot simulate games. I do not know why this is still an issue. When the clock is under 10 seconds in the 2nd or 4th quarter the game will automatically simulate the game and not let me stop the clock. The simulation should let me have complete control of the clock. The game won't kick a field goal even in range and I will either lose because time expired or go into overtime if tied. The game automatically goes into hurry up offense if I have the QB run the ball and slide. There should be some kind of generic story element for player satisfaction. Not to the degree of NBA2K but at least something to keep players invested. I would like some user input over trade and draft considerations, sometimes after simulating an offseason I am stuck with substantially low rated players or even below minimum number of players. Also how am I not able to negotiate on my own contacts, either money, options or years. Its dissapointing and frustrating. It appears to have improved but over fumbling is still a problem in the snow. Please consider these changes for future updates. Thank youGlitch in Madden 26 Superstar Mode
I created a WR and was drafted by the Raiders. For some unforeseen reason MAX CROSBY is starting and lined up next to me at WR position lol. Why is this thing? This is a very horrible glitch lol. His wear and tear is obviously deteriorated within the first 4 weeks because of this. BUT that neither here no there WHY IS CROSBY PLAYING WR?? How can this happen Madden? And of course I cannot change the depth chart in Superstar Mode he is not even positioned as a WR on there anyway. I do not understand lol. Hi EA team, I have to say it’s really disappointing that in Madden 26 Superstar Mode (QB) we still can’t use our team’s actual playbook. Instead, we’re stuck with the same simplified “shared” playbook no matter which team drafts us. Why is this still a thing in 2025? The whole point of getting drafted by a specific team is to experience that team’s real offensive system. Yet you’ve removed that depth entirely and replaced it with a generic playbook that feels stripped down and boring. Is this just because of the playbook unlock mechanic? If so, that’s not a good excuse — you literally have a working system for this in College Football 26, so just use that framework. This feels like a lazy design choice that completely undermines the immersion and variety of Superstar Mode. Players want to feel the difference between being a 49er, a Chiefs QB, or a Ravens QB — not to run the same 15 generic plays over and over again. Please reconsider this decision, or at least communicate if there’s a technical reason for it. Superstar Mode deserves more than a “one-size-fits-all” playbook.Superstar issues
Dear EA Team, I would like to address several frustrating issues I’ve encountered in Madden 26 Superstar that significantly take away from the experience. The core of the game is fun, but it feels full of small, immersion-breaking problems that add up quickly. When I run a no-huddle, I select a play and the correct routes are shown in the play art, but once the snap happens, my receivers run completely different routes. Every receiver on my team has a Superstar Development trait, which makes it feel completely unrealistic and unbalanced. When I roll out of the pocket, instead of adjusting or blocking, my receivers just stand around and watch me get hit, even if i playmaker them into the direction of the defenders. It’s frustrating that I cannot create multiple players for the same position at once. When I try to customize my uniform before a game, the game doesn’t show what the jerseys look like, so I have no idea how they actually appear on the field. During a playoff overtime game, once regulation ended, the commentators went completely silent until I stepped back onto the field — almost as if no commentary lines were ever recorded for that situation. I cannot see the injury report, and I also don’t have access to league-related news. After switching teams, I am still stuck with the same short, watered-down playbook of around 60 shotgun plays. This is beyond disappointing. CFB 26 had this right — you could’ve literally just copy-pasted that system. I also find the whole situation a bit strange. It seems like the company is trying to save on testing and instead relies on customers to test the product and provide feedback. Of course, we are not compensated for this; we pay for the finished product and are expected to report bugs that went unnoticed after a year of development. These issues make the game feel unpolished and unfinished. The gameplay foundation is strong, but the lack of attention to detail really hurts the overall experience. Not quite sure what the fix is here, whether it's turning down the fumbling during snow games or not making every snow game a HEAVY snow game. My team fumbles almost ten times during a snow game, which is actually insane. All while the opposing team fumbles once... at least make the ratios the same for both teams then I can't complain. Don't even get me started on the snow. When is every single snow game in the NFL a blizzard? I understand the aspect of wanting to add HEAVY snow games to make it somewhat realistic. But not every game in the snow is played like this. I'm just asking for a balance. Would've had an undefeated season, but my only two losses during the regular season was during two snow games because my team had butter fingers and couldn't carry the ball. Just asking for a balance. Keep the heavy snow, but tone down the fumbles.Superstar mode Film student needs to be fixed
Film student is showing late and at times is not showing at all. What's the point of film student if it shows late and sometimes doesn't show at all?? I can't make the adjustments needed, nor can I guest play right for me time if film student isn't working. It needs to be fixedUnable to start a second Superstar Career or change my gear
So after playing my first season of superstar mode as a QB I decided I wanted to give another position a go. Whenever I press switch character to start a new career I have an attention message constantly flashing on my screen forcing me to restart the game. I was frustrated but didn't know what to do so I continued my QB career. That was until I unlocked a Jordan sponsorship and went to change my gear and discovered whenever I pressed change gear, an error message popped up. The only way I can view my gear is through the live events section however even then I can change almost nothing. Does anyone have any solutions, I've tried the basics like redownloading the game but it still wont work. Thanks for reading.
