Expected: MMR-based: +90 RP for upsets (higher MMR opponents), +2-8 expected. Top 100 should get full bonuses vs elites (dev intent). Actual: Wins vs Top 10: +2-45 RP only. Friend #2 (same squad): +90 RP. Solo vs Top 50: Still capped +45. Losses: Low penalties (-15 not -90). Reproduce: Queue Ranked Superstar Showdown (solo/party). Win vs Top 50/100 squad. RP low (screenshots below). Tried & Failed: Cache clear + console restart. Unlink/relink EA Account (myaccount.ea.com). Delete local saves (cloud reload #14). Solo queue (10+ games). The same jerseys? Same helmets. Literally a copy and paste with just a few added things…. Why can’t we just have full colored uniforms and even throwback uniforms and customize our superstar to our complete liking instead of whatever the garbage is that you guys have put up here. This game mode can be so much better but yall litterally lack innovation on all scales of the spectrum and it truly shows yall just check in and check out and give zero F1#%s about anything….. And don’t care about the community and just want to rip us off it feels like….. unless yall cann just simply fix the garbage servers so I can actually play this game with my friends without constantly all getting disconnected and have to reset 400 times a day and my buddies as well. It’s such a great and fun game but it’s not when we have to CONSTATNLY DEAL WITH ALL THE HICCUPS……. Will not be buying madden 27 till it’s fully fixed and I’ve baught every single madden since 08…. Yall are absolutely falling off the wagon and Madden hasn’t been the same since John Madden passed. Yall ruined his game like he told Yall not to… such failures and everyone apart of this clown circus should be deeply ashamed while John Madden looks down upon Yall shaking his heady in eary despair……. How this game mode still has the same bugs as it did on Madden 24…. 25 and 26…. Ea employees are extremely lazy. Don’t actually play the game to see the errors it has. It’s absolutely terrible. This is why nobody buys it because their setting their self’s up for failure… to many bugs in this one and I think every year it’s gonna be better but it’s not…. I can’t play 2 games of superstar without CONSTANTLY LAGGING OUT AND DISCONETTING…. DO YOUR JOBS. I LOVE THIS GAME BUT LORD HAGE MEECY ON THE SERVERS. The sphere of influence is fine for offensive positions but defensive positions make my quarterback hate me. I get -30 influence for simply letting up a first down but only +13 if I hold them to a punt. It’s a net -17 if I let up a first down and still make them punt. I don’t understand why my quarterback is mad at me for forcing a punt. Also why does he care so much about a touchdown if we are already up 30? The quarterback blames me for letting up a touchdown on the other side of the field and get -100. My quarterback hating me makes the offense bad and impossible to win games. I don’t know why he expects me to get interceptions on every play.More engaging career mode
In superstar mode EA should maks it more engaging make the story line more interesting have your player go through ups and downs and more cut scenes similar to nba 2k26 that would be cool to see in madden 27.. and make it easier to upgrade your player or easier to get tokens to do so.. hopefully other players think so as well..Superstar mode jersey number issue
Madden 26 So I started a rtg in ncaa26. Imported my player to madden. Got drafted by the saints. My jersey number is the same as my college number which was cool. However I wanted to change that . In the edit player section I found where to change numbers. I see every number is available 0-99 . Im on the saints ,I know 41 is obviously taken, however it let's me choose that number . Also during preseason games my number changes each game. First game i was number 2,second game I was number 19?? I didnt edit or change numbers prior to the games. Is that normal ? Or a glitch? Why a different number each game? Im looking for the most realistic (as realistic as a video game can get) experience. Would i have to manually go through the roster and look for what jersey numbers are not taken? Also what's up with my number changing every pre season game? Is this happening to anyone else? Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is my first time playing madden. Thanks everyone!Showdown needs to get better…
Showdown needs to get better if they want more people to take it seriously. My first recommendation would be to give players the option to play 3v3 or 7v7 rather than only allowing the 3v3. I personally like 7v7 better and don’t find joy in 3v3. This alone would amplify the game tremendously as players would be able to play whichever they have the better experience with. Secondly, I would suggest that they introduce more tournaments within it with more incentive similar to how 2k does.Player Builder
EA’s player builder isn’t to bad but I feel like it doesn’t emphasize the diversity of today’s game. I have this concept of “sub-types” that highlight the different strengths that certain positions and archetypes of players have on the field. I’m not a fan of AI😅 but I have some prompts from GPT that help demonstrate what I’m thinking of. I used the slot receiver archetype for this one, but much more archetypes come to mind for me like ball hawk S, Improviser QB, and Field General LB. Please lmk what yall think.Madden 26 Superstar
I think something can be done to make superstar mode worth it and way more fun to play besides adding more positions obviously. Madden has a 3v3 exhibition game mode that you can access through SSKO. You can play the yard with friends on your superstar player, but I think if you could put your players on your favorite team and play with your friends against other players exhibition style it would bring new life to the game. This is just an idea I’ve had for a while and I want to hear feedback and other ideas.
