[Information] Mass Effect 1 and Win7 or Win8 - You need patch 1.02 to play
In order to play Mass Effect 1 on Windows 7 or Windows 8, please patch your game to the latest patch. You can check the file "MassEffect.exe" and make sure that it's dated July 17, 2009, or later. If it's older, you can download patch 1.02 here: http://static.cdn.ea.com/bioware/u/f/eagames/bioware/masseffect/updates/MassEffect_EFIGS_1.02.exe If you get the error message "Mass Effect not found ...", please run Origin as admin. To do that close your Origin client if it is already running. Right-click on the Origin icon on your desktop and choose "Run as administrator" to start your Origin client. (Thanks mnercurial303 for this information.) If you still get "Mass Effect not found ...", follow these steps: 1. Open "Notepad" (or any other text editor.) 2. Do a "File -> Save". 3. Name the (empty) file "MassEffectLauncher". 4. Close the file. 5. Open "Windows File Explorer" and rename the file from "MassEffectLauncher.txt", to "MassEffectLauncher.exe" 6. Copy the file "MassEffectLauncher.exe" to the game's root program folder ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect\"). 7. Run the 1.02 patch.
Mass Effect Trilogy edition with all the DLC included?
Hello I would like to purchase the Mass Effect Trilogy Edition for PC. But I want to get ALL the DLC. Their is alot so I wanted to make sure I get the most of my money. I found out that in the pack ME1 has all the DLC, ME2 has no DLC included, and ME3 you have to pay for the upgrade which is $10. I wanted to pay for the upgrade for ME2 if their is any. I find it strange how ME2 has no Upgrade to included all the DLC. Can someone tell me how to get all the DLC or anyone else sells like on amazon etc. Thank You
Mouse cursor gets stuck in the center of the screen. UI bug.

Digital Based Install Summarize your bug Mouse cursor gets stuck in the center of the screen and you cannot move it at all. It should disappear in free roaming mode or in the middle of conversation, but it does not happen. This can be "fixed" temporarily (i.e. for a couple of minutes), but mouse cursor returns to the center of the screen after you visit in-game menus or in another conversation. How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%) How long has this issue been happening? Always Happens Please select your region Europe Run the www.speedtest.net network benchmark and post your upload and download speeds. - What company provides your internet service? - Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It is random. In one session everything is OK. In another you cannot avoid it. 1) Try to call some of these in-game menus and move your cursor. 2) Go back to free roam mode or in conversation with NPC/terminal and it should stuck in the middle of the screen. What is the AMD or Nvidia Model Number of your graphics card? GTX 1080 Please enter memory size in GB. 16 I tried to record a video, but this damned cursor is not visible after the recording and on screenshots. But it looks like this: the cursor pops out of nowhere and very quickly jumps back to the center of the screen from a distance of 3-4cm. What was the EA Online Pass? Online Pass was a unique, one-time-use code included with new EA games that allowed EA players to access online features. If the game was not purchased new, the online pass code might have been used already and the player would need to purchase a new Online Pass. Do I still need an Online Pass to play multiplayer games online? For new EA titles, Online Pass will no longer be needed or included. Additionally, we are in the process of eliminating Online Pass requirements from existing EA games. This process will take several weeks. For some games, the prompt to enter an Online Pass code will no longer appear; for others, you will still need to download and install an Online Pass, but they will be available free of charge from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace or PlayStation Store. When will specific games have their Online Pass turned off? The latest releases of EA SPORTS games are the first. Over the next several weeks, Online Pass will either be removed completely, or will be available for free in the PlayStation Store and Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
